White Widow @ nearly 8 weeks, over-fert?

No pics just now, but I've got a general question anyways. My Greenhous WW clones are at 7 weeks and look crispy as all hell. I've got fairly small pots, SoG, lollipopped, 600W HPS. I've used FoxFarm nutes with Advanced solubles (BigBud and Overdrive) for the whole duration. I've looked on the plant problems stickies and I think I've got over-fert, which is definitely possible. I water every other day, usually, but with ferts only once or twice a week. My plants have definitely got moist soil and humidity, while low @ 35-39%, seems livable for the winter. Temps are usually 82-84. Anyways, aside from the crispiness in the leaves, the plants look healthy as hell. I have 12" top colas that are splitting 3-5 ways at the tips and 3-4" thick. This past week, the satellite buds started coming in like mad, too.

So my question here.. Tuesday starts week 9 and I'll be straight water / flushes from then until the end of week 10. Does an over-fert issue really matter, at this point?

Thanks, in advance.

Yes,it makes a difference in taste, but any problems you had will now go away b/c of the flush to the end.luv the analogy Dirtyboy

Yes your weed will taste like fertilizer.

When ya make cookies you get a stomach ache.
So true, Next time use bigger pots, and less ferts. Bigger pots will help your plants establish much bigger roots/buds too and you will have to water less.

So.. a flush a day for 2 weeks straight won't clear that taste out? That's what I'm lookin' at, starting tuesday.

A flush a day will drown your plants. Especially if you do that for 2 weeks you will be in trouble. Flush now (alot of people recommend using at least 3x the pot size worth of water, I just do it till the water comes out pretty clear). Then just water with plain water each time you would normally water. :leaf:

OK. Wait and see on the taste, eh?

Go ahead and flush the plants with a high volume of water. After that then water with plain water. You will rinse out nutes and give the plant time to use it up left over nutes.

Sweet. Thanks. Just flushed tonight. I have a few REAL slow moving pots though. Ugh. Also, as a note, I watered w/ SensiCal, since it also looked a bit like Mg deficiency. Well.. the girls got REAL happy. Some of the crispy spots turned leathery and look like they're healing up. Winter's fun for growing.. Indica purpling. :) I've got candy stripes up the stalks and several leaves turned bright purple nearly overnight. Awesome! Still clear trichomes, unfortunately.
