Oh man those buds are looking nice! I wouldn't stress too much about the fan leaves, they'll yellow and die off in time anyway.

Grow is going great, I will be taking pictures tonight to post! Buds are getting heavy enough to require support yoyo's, but I still have one week of Big Bud left along with 3-4 more weeks of grow time after this week!
This week will be the furthest I have ever gone with growing only because something has always gone wrong in the past. All issues I have had so far have been due to inexperience and each time I seem to get a couple weeks further. I have been able to harvest still a couple times with good results, but never a true harvest IMHO because I didnt finish the crop off properly.
ANYWAYS
I have collected pollen from a white widow male i had in the bunch and would like to use it to create some seeds. I have a small paint brush that I plan on using. Does anyone have any recommendations on when I should do this? I will begin searching threads also of course, but I at the moment I plan on using the pollen on a couple buds this weekend. There is still about 4 weeks of grow time after this coming weekend.

Welp 10 weeks have passed and I have started the 5th week of flowering. I think I have singed these girls a bit, am running pretty heavy at 1700 ppms right now. I am using Big Bud this last week (in addition to the previous 3 weeks), and then I am going to use OverDrive for 2 more weeks. Then at least one week of flushing. I am basically following the standard nutrient calculator setup.
I need to buy more yo-yo's unless someone has a nice home made solution aside from just standard string that holds up heavy buds?

Wow looks great! I am in 10 days in from putting my WW sprouts in the DWC. If my little ones turn out like this i will be more than happy! Me ready to smoke!

These both came from my white widow seed bag...and both sprouted at same time.
I checked the trichomes and they are all clear on both plants still, but one seems much further along than the other in terms of leaf yellowing and amber hairs.
Do I need to harvest one earlier than the other? Aigh, I plan on harvesting very beginning of November right now...

wow looking beautiful!! i am soon to start my first grow and seeing this is getting me soooo excited. one question. is using all of those nutrients hard to do? it just seems like something i would mess up having to use like 7 different bottles. i purchased fox farm tiger bloom and big bloom i think it was figured one thing for veg and one for flower would be a lot easier. looking great though

Yeah I am ditching advanced nutes, call it a 'beginner's mistake" (if you are being nice about it) Way too much damn time mixing to say the least.
I am switching over to Botanicare's Pure Blend Pro along with some Liquid Karma and their Sweetener....maybe hydroplex also if i can find out why its worth using if its not on the pure blen pro feed chart

I grabbed em through Nirvana...this is my first truly professional fully setup grow and I wanted to do it with a true old school strain. Reviews I have read though is that this particular WW strain from nirvana has heavier sativa than indica qualities, which might explain why one of my girls grew out of control the way she did.
I would like to try attitude due to their huge fucking selection because I REALLY WANT TO GROW SOME CHEESE!
