White widow autoflower, here we go!

Hey y'all!
Wanted to see what y'all thought about my 1 week old auto flowers...

I started with 3 auto flower white widow and 1 sweet mango auto flower seeds... Germinated them properly, tap root emerged, healthy as can be...
Put them in ph adjusted rockwool cubes and set them in a humidity dome

Within 4 days, all 4 had sprouted nicely... On the 5-6 day, I was starting to see some really nice roots, and thru some advice from the kind folk on RIU, I've transplanted them into their respective pots...

For my medium, I am using sunshine mix #4 aggregate... I haven't added anything to it since on the bag it says that it already has perlite as well as dolomite in the mixture... Since it is peat moss based, I am aware of its high acidity levels so I've been maintaining my ph levels around the 6.2-6.5 range (runoff water)

For lighting, it's quite simple right now, I'm using a single t5 HO 6' long running 24/0... I've kept the light within inches of the seedlings since emerging from the soil... I also have a 1000 watt Hps I stand by...

Have a look at the pics, and let me know what y'all think... Keeping in mind that they are only about a week old... (You can see the dates on my digital thermometer/hygrometer)
Feel free to give me advice as well, y'all can be brutally honest with me, I'm a big boy lol... I honestly thought that my growth was slow to be honest, but, ive kept the room temp at about 72-75... 25-35% HR, and ph'd my water to what I've been told is the right ph...

Thanks for checking my grow out!

So today marks day 12 from when the seedlings emerged... Since the last post, I've started introducing about an eighth of what my GH 3 part solution is recommending...

Also, I've started introducing them to my 1000 watt Hps, and oh boy, within about an hour of the light being on, all 3 of them were really stretching for the light, nice to see life in my garden...

My temps are very consistent, right in the 84-87 range... I'm still on a 24/0 light schedule with my T5 tube, but the 1000 watt Hps is being turned on 4 hours, then off 4, then back on 4 hours, and so on and so forth... I've been seeing some great growth from introducing such a big light change...

These 2 pics are day 12
Let me hear what you guys think!

I have a soft spot for white widows since they were my first photoperiod grow. I'll definitely be keeping an eye on your journal.

My advice is this: Be careful when trying to compare your grow to others, you mentioned it's slow going so far but nature can't be rushed. Veg and flowering times are guestimates at best, just take care of your ladies and they'll take care of you.

Good advice scarrred! Reading back on my original post, I was just worried for no reason, prior to this grow, my last 2 were DWC and I was using my 1000 watt thru the grow... So that's why for the first week of this soilless grow, I wasn't seeing the same growth as I did with DWC... Had me nervous...

I just gotta light one up, and just chill... Nature will take its course! I'll post some updated pics soon... They're looking nice!

Here's a little look at them on day 14. I'm not sure this was even possible at such an early stage, but I think I'm already starting to see sex (las 2 pictures)... Even though these are feminized seeds, nice to see everything moving along nicely... Maybe it's an Autoflower thing to show so early? I've usually had to wait at least a minimum of 3 weeks, but since it's only been 2, I'll take that as a good thing...

Hey y'all! Just another update on my 3 girls... They're now into day 14 since sprouted... Last update was 14 days after germanizing... Anyways...

2 days ago was their first nute feeding, very low dose of course, 210ppm to be exact.. They seem to have liked their feeding... Lots of green growth, looking good... I am currently using general hydroponics 3 part...

I've now got them on an 18/6 light schedule with my 1000 watt Hps. I've done some research about offering them different light spectrums, and I know that the Hps bulb is ideal for flowering, but do you guys think that theirs any benefits to running my T5 slightly under my 1000 watt bulb? Just wondering if it would help them along with 2 different light spectrums...

Thanks!

I doubt you'll see much benefit to running the HPS while they're still small and vegging, stick with the T5 until they have more nodes and start showing sex. Consistency is key.

Lookin good geebs, they are startin to grow fast now!.
What breeder are they from? I've grown Pyramids auto white widow outdoors and was very happy with the smoke. Bag appeal wasnt great but that didnt matter for me.

Hey burner! Thanks, they are from greenhouse seed company... They are looking pretty good up to now...

**UPDATE**

Day 16 after sprouting

I haven't watered in about 5-6 days (nute/watered on the 6th November) but my medium still seems fairly moist, I am sticking my finger all the way into the soil, in the outer edge of the pot not to damage roots, and can feel moisture at my finger tip, definitely not wet though... Anyways, I think my plants are growing nicely...

Since introducing the 1000 watt Hps, I've had lots of issues with getting my heat where I want it to be, aiming for 75-80 light on, and about 70-75 light off... I've got the light off part good, but I've had to do some trial and error with my room when the light is on...
Long story short, in the last few days, these girls have been exposed to, at times, high 80's low 90's...
Was seeing signs of heat stress so I've since added 2 fans, and one duct fan pulling cool Canadian outdoor air... I've now got the room down to 80-83, highs in the day are 83-84, so I think that'll be good now, I hope they bounce back from the stress...

There is one of my girls that seemed a little droopy today for some reason, and my other one is showing some deficiencies now, Nitrogen I believe (mild yellowing throughout the fan leaves, happens to be my tallest plant)... Have a look at the pics and tell me what you guys think!

The first 2 pics are the same plant, only 24 hours apart... She's my star performer, staying really really short... The last 2 pics are my "problemed" ones... Let me know!

Hey y'all, quick update... These shits are taken with my light on, I apologize about that... But I've been so busy and this was the only time I had...

22 days after sprout!

Think they're starting to tell me that they need more nitrogen... The bottom leaves are turning yellow and slowly spreading upwards... I'll adjust my ppm accordingly for the next feeding...

Put some cheap (or expensive, lol) sunglasses in front of the camera lens next time you've got the HPS on. ;)

Before the update, thanks again tomuch for the advice on the sunglasses, makes a huge difference...

**UPDATE**
Day 30 after sprout

Lots of pistols are starting to show with lots of bud sites. I've been feeding them veg nutrients up until now, next feeding will be transitioning into flowering nutes...

As for my temperatures, I've really got them down to a T now... Lights off its sitting at around 73-74... Lights on its sitting at around 81-83, I'm very happy with this as are the plants, the heat stress that they were showing is really starting to dissipate...

But now my largest plant out of the 3 is showing what I think is cal/mag difficiencies.. Or improper Ph...

I've been also foliar feeding them a nitrogen rich mixture... Once right when the light comes on... The foliar spray is water and GH micro (6-0-2), ppm is 300 of the foliar spray, definitely has improved the yellowing

Anyways, more to come... Let me know what you guys think or if I'm doing something I shouldn't be doing...
