White Walls or Foil?

buy a roll of mylar for 15 bucks..thats your best bet...I wouldn't use cardboard with a hot light present

Panda film (black and white plastic) is an awesome route to. It's cheap, relfects 90% of white light, easy to clean and no hot spots.

dont know where i read it bud mylar and flat white paint both reflect a high percent of light think mylar beats the paint by 10% or so. but i like the paint for my setup it worked out the best. fyi if you use the paint get flat white not the glossy shit that stuff acctualy reflects less light.

get vinly matt super its the best and reflect 90% i think i use white paint very good and cheap and easy and seals, anf reflects light perfect

Emergency blankets at walmart as well. That or wrapping paper at the dollar store (mylar). I chose the emergency blankets route. They are 90% reflect, mildew-free, and they don't tear.

if your using floresent lights that aren't super strong use foil but if you have strong growing bulbs use white paint

get some diamond pattern mylar its got a better thicker backing with a diamond patter on the reflective side. 25 bucks easy to install

Foil should never be used ever.Mylar can be bought online or at the local dollar store in the gift wrap section look for polywrap. It looke like colored mettalic wrapping paper and its made from mylar and is plain old shiney silver on the back. Costs about $1 for a 3foot by 15 foot roll. Its thinner then the good 3 mil but works very well.I posted a thread with pictures of it late last year
