not sure if they would do THAT, never seen that in person before....the larvae will damage your roots though, ide use a general organic insecticide....maybe someone else can give you an option that will not hurt your buds....how far into flower are you?

White dots are roots starting to come out, probably because it looks pretty wet...
your plants look good to me...relax !!! Growing weed is easy, growing good weed is hard.
once you get through this you will laugh at the paranoia, i promise, i know i did at myself lol.

if your plants are outside, give them a good neem bath since flowers are just now forming...should help you out with those pests for a few weeks.

The white stuff on the stalk is normal and not always roots. Its a type of scale.

The white damage of the leaf is from thrips or maybe grass hopper or other leaf eater possibly.

I've also seen the white spots in the leaves and it be nothing.

Needs a good feed. Needs N. Switched to bloom too early.

Possible over watering also.

It well could be Leaf Septoria, but the pix are not good enough to tell for sure. It starts with individual sharp-round white dots - not like in your 2nd pic, though not your 1st, AFAICT,

Watch it carefully: It can spread quickly.

I'm using(*) potassium carbonate (sodium- doesn't work nearly as well, if at all. The product Green Cure is potassium carbonate.
(*: Yes, some just appeared on my plants.)

For powdery-mildew on my catnip, it's very effective - although only for a few weeks at a time. I don't know about on cannabis ... yet. :-(
