White spot on bud.

I have this weird white spot on one of my buds. It almost looks like it is lacking pigment. It also seems to have trichomes on it. Anyone know what this is.

I do have room to raise the lights. I have been growing for almost 10 years and using this light for 3 or 4. This is happening in an area that is probably 6 inches lower than the top of the canopy. None of the other flowers have this nor do any of the other plants. Im not saying that it's not light bleaching, but it seems weird that it would be happening below the top of the canopy.

It’s possible it could be something else, but this type of damage is typical with light stress. When I zoom in really close on pic 2, it looks like you’ve got a seed forming at the very tip, which also likely indicates some sort of stress.
There could have been something that I'm not aware of. I was also wondering if maybe the light hit something that cause a magnifying effect. Im happy that this has shown up at the end of the grow and not the middle stages. I could harvest now if it was an emergency.

I always attributed it to light bleaching . Thinking back now I only remember it happening with one strain , Apollo 13 . At the time I was running it with Apollo 11 and SSH and didn't see it on those .

Just a thought . Another thought is that when I saw it the clones I was running were going on 2 years old , I wonder if age may make a plant more susceptible ?

In my cases it remained very localized and I ran the to the end without a problem .

These seeds are g13 pineapple express and they are at least 4 if not 5 years old.

U do realize almost every pheno is different in ppfd (like nutes and many things ) needs and I’ve def seen when hunting and growing many pheno’s dont and won’t handle a certain range. If you woild of bent the branch 4-6 inches with ur canopy and that range isn’t bleached it prolly would of been okay
