So I've been meaning to start this thread ever since I planted on the first of this month. for some reason I'm just now getting to it. I thought I had pics of my plants when I first put them in the ground but I guess I just have a pic of the empty garden and the plants in pots about to go in. so the first plant pics are from today 6/26/2010. They have been in the ground for almost a month but have been FIMed and topped since then. also removed the lower sucker shoots and have been bending over the taller branches for super cropping. I had just removed a lot of lower foliage and did some supper cropping the day before these pics so I will take me in a week after the plants have their next big growth spurt.

The plants I'm growing this season are about 8 lavender x satori and 8 purple elephant x satori, I made these seeds last year out off my best producing plants and a really nice satori male from mandala seeds. the mothers were both clones from trusted friends dispensary in redding, california.

With that I have 4 Trinity Oranges that are from seed. they are a strain of cali o that this old man had been growing in hayfork for the last 30 years and he gave me the seeds. his bud was so orange tasting i cant wait to see it after ive grown it.

Also 1 purple kush x skunk #1 that is a fem seed from a hermie so im worried might turn hermie. I have it in a pot though and will seperate it during flower time, it smells so dank i cant kill it.

another 2 hash plant clones from my neighbor 2 doors down who just passed away from cancer. I used to grow with him and he was a bad ass mother fucker who taught me a lot of shit. his wife gave me these clones after he passed so im gonna try to make one into a mom.

and 1 jack herer clone from the same guy which is funny cause I remember giving him the jack mom. im stoked to grow it again cause it does great in this nor cal sun and i love the strain.

After I originally planted 3 of my seedlings turned up male so i removed them after they were already very big and was able to fit in their place the 3 trinity orange seedlings and 2 new clones as well which were: lime trainwreck(a super tiny almost dead clone that im giving TLC because i love the taste so much.) and white rhino.

I think that's all the girls if I remember any I left out I will post them. Theres also 4 tomato plants(cherry, roma, beefsteak, and yellow pear), Cucumbers, Squash, Sereno peppers and 2 bell pepper plants(red and purple). I'm pretty excited about the veggies too.

Using all organic nutrients, mixed bat guano and organic starting nutes with some cheap soil from the nursery (bumper crop) topped off with some humboldt nutrients soil and some power flower soil. currently only using fish emulsion from last year, a little thrive alive and age old kelp. I need to get age old grow and bloom but im a broke mofo. also a bunch of age old myco mixed in the soil and a little steer and chicken manure. when i get more cash im going to top it all off with more power flower. I also need to start making compost tea again. my brewer from last year isnt even set up yet. I will also use lots of molasses during flower for phos, carbs and as sweetener. I buy that with my food stamps so it saves me a lot of money. heh.

The fence isn't completely finished because I ran out of white paint. I wish I had a pic of what it looked like before I built the fence and roto-tilled. it was just a shitty pile of clay dirt and rocks and a little bed where i grew 3 plants last year. the dead grass around the outside is where i sprayed round up and am gunna put these cool decorative bricks so I don't run into the fence when I'm mowing.

It was a lot of work but not too much cash and I think it's really gonna pay off for me because last year I had trouble keeping one of the dogs out cause she wanted to eat the plants so bad. but now with this fence my only worry is rippers since I live in a semi-shitty neighborhood. But I'm gonna sleep out in a tent with my dog come october so I should be alright.

Thanks for reading and I hope you come back to see the progress it should be awesome! bongsmilie

*edit* and yes I stole the ring idea from fdd2blkk. gotta give credit where its due. shit's a great idea. I just put them in like a week ago and noticed a huge difference during feeding. I cut them out of a 8$ trashcan from walmart. *edit*

Good morning. Here's some music to get stoned to and trip out. I'm seeing these guys next month at the Fox in Oakland. Hopefully gonna get some good dose first.

Yeah, today was the first day of summer heat so expect 110 degrees plus! hopefully your going to shasta lake or whiskeytown. The sacramento river is still like 40 degrees so that's a good way to cool down.

Looks good bro. Yeah I like the ring idea. I have always reccesed mine in the ground, same effect.
Yeah, I didnt have enough soil to do that since the hardpan is only a foot or 2 down, so i have the dirt piled up around the stalks and that makes the water run off but the rings hold it in really well.

So anyway, I was just out working in the garden and my lazy dog was trying to walk through the shade to get to me and half assed jumped over my little bong and broke it. :(

I got a pic of him right after he did it looking all ashamed. He looked so sad I couldnt get mad at him and just had him chill with me in the garden to take pictures. He loves the camera.

I'll post the pics in a few after my camera re-charges. And after I smoke a pipe bowl now that I'm bong-less.

*edit* Alright here's a picture of my nutrients and bong before my dog broke it. and then the next is when I was running over to stop him but realized it was to late. third is the sad broken bong and then the bowl restuffed into a pipe.*edit*

My buddies boxer rolls in his plants lol.
Haha. Yeah, the other dog we have will try and eat the plants, that's why I had to build the fence. My dog just loves to chill in them and guard them. He's knows their important cause I'm always working on them, so he thinks it's his job to keep them safe. Can't ask for much better than that, except not knock my bong over!! lol.

Yeah when they have that face you can't stay mad-- gotta love their unconditional loving kindness. I'm using that same Alaska fish emulsion on my plants-- they love it. Plants look really good, and I love the vase on the table! How long will they stay looking like that before the start to wilt? Good luck with your grow, cheers.

Those are just some branches I cut off the bottom of my best plant when I was pruning it up and I wanted to clone them but haven't been able to go get any cubes or soil. sucks I'm hindered by the lack of funds right now. they have already been in the glass for about 3 days and one of them is starting to wilt. I need some oasis cubes or rockwool so I can cut those babies up for clones.

Also I transplanted a couple more plants into the garden, one was the almost completely dead trinity orange that was in the bottom left corner on one of the first pics on this thread. I bet even though it looks like shit now I still will get a few ounces off it. I also transplanted in another 2 big lavender x satori's. I just want to fast forward a month and see how everything fits so I can know whether or not to plant the rest of my plants. I don't really want to grow them in pots because I cant afford another 50 gallons of soil.

I only use the fish so I wouldn't know. I'm pretty sure the bloom is just fish with chemicals added so I'm sure it works fine, I just wouldn't use it.

Yup, he's name is O'l Dirty Bastard (ODB) but he goes by Odie (OD) for short and that's what's on his tag because I figured someone might not give him back if his name was bastard. lol.
