White mold.

Hey, been told it's michorrizae , it's fine and just leave it, which was my initial reaction as well. But it's getting a hell of a lot worse, it's on the outside of my bag. I've never seen micorrhizae ontop of the soil, or on the outside of a bag. Humidity isn't an issue, I've even lowered it since I noticed the mold. Ph is fine, and havent fed them yet. Soil is bone dry. Transplanted the clones last week, no mold before transplant. Fresh bag of pro mix. Top covered with mold within days. Removed the top mold it grew back. Last pic is now after scooping the top again. Should I toss, clean tent and start over?

That looks like mycelium which is a beneficial fungi. The first time I saw it I freaked out too and thought it was mold, then I learned it was good stuff breaking down the shit I top dressed.

your humidity is waaaaay to high. To much watering as well.
Humidity is too high at 47%? I transplanted over a week ago and watered them once when first 2 inches of soil was dry , no runoff. Guess I'll try watering them less and lowering the humidity. 20% humidity sound good?

It looks like you've got dead leaves on top of the soil. That will get the mycelium active too.

Very odd especially since your humidty does seem fine and u have proper air flow.

Are those brand new fabric pots or did u reuse some older ones? just wondering especially bc u said its on the outside of them too.

Is your tent in your basement or somewhere that might be mold spore friendly?

Is in the basement, I have 3 grows so far in that tent harvested last one three weeks ago, same soil, temps, humidity. Brand new pots. I did have the bag of promix stacked on my back deck in the sun for about 3 weeks though, but I'm not seeing any mold in the remaining soil.

Not a leaf touching the soil. Close but not touching.

Hmm. Definitely seems like it came in with the soil. Anything else new? New batch of nutes or anything that might be contaminated? Do you spray down your tent with bleach or h202 or anything between rounds?

I do spray it down I usually use peroxide but last time was a 1:10 bleach. Same batch of nutes from last grow. I was thinking soil too.

is that promix the kind with myco added to it?

i would fill up a solo cup w that soil, add a little water to get it wet, and put it on your kitchen counter or garage or somewhere w good airflow for a few days and see if mold appears. if so its the promix for sure if so I would toss it and get yourself something else. maybe you can compost it or something so u don't have to actually toss it, ill let someone else advise on that.

Sure looks like leaves in the soil to me. In another pic it looks like dead leaves covered in mycelium. I'm just judging from the pics though.

Just double checked the bag. Promix with mycoactive. So, it's supposed to do that? Tbh I've been an outdoor grower more than a decade, but indoor for two years-ish and 3 grows. I've been using that promix the whole time, because it's cheap and readily available most of the year. Time for a switch?

Im not 100% sure tbh, I havent run in promix in 20 years or so. I just remember seeing bags of Promix w myco added at the garden center so thought maybe that could be it.

I used FFOF for a long time but I just switched to this stuff from BAS. Its pretty amazing. Im mid flower now and still haven't done anything but water and my plants are the best looking I've ever grown. Expensive but totally worth it from what im seeing so far. Its so good I plan to run it a few times and just ammend w some ewc and maybe rock dust. They have some other mixes too w compost added, im just using this one bc im trying to keep it veganic and this Light soil has no guano or anything in it.
