White fuzz

Today when I checked my plants i noticed some white fuzzy stuff on one of them, but they are still trying to sprout so what is this?

yea let me go get some real quick

eh never mind i couldn't get a good enough picture was always to blurry, but I can tell you that whatever it is made it stop sprouting. I think I'm going to just throw it away.

Was it just sprouting out of the soil, or is it a seedling?

If this is what I think it is, it's called seedrot. I get it sometimes when I put a seed in paper towels for germination. Are the said seeds still in the moist papertowel?
