Which Vaporizer Should I go for?

I know that this thread probably shouldn't be here but I didn't really know where to put it, sorry.
Basically I'm looking to buy a portable vape. I've pretty much got my heart set on the Davinci but I was just looking for some more opinions. There are three that i'm looking at:

Iolite,
Arizer Solo &
the Davinci.

In your opinion which one (if any) should I get and why?

You convinced me there. You reckon the Davinci is okay for heavy smokers?
actually i've never heard of that one, was just thinking to myself i'll have to google it.
i use an arizer tower for home (which i love) and i've been curious about the solo myself..... you'll have to do a review if you decide to go with it. ;)

i hear nothing but good things about the omicron and persei units, they're for concentrates but one of them has a weed attachment option now...... they're the ones that look like those e-cigarettes.

From everything i've read and experienced, NO portable vaporizers are worth their asking price. They either don't do the job or they pack up a few weeks later. the ones i've used which do actually work and keep working, you'll spend half your morning just trying to get high unless you have a ridiculously low tolerance.

@ Mellokitty, just ask research kitty about the omicrom or it seems anything from delta9, they appear to be bordering on being a scam and are about as unrealiable as a product is capable of being. I believe the resounding consensus was that it's like you're buying beta models.

I've been on some other forums and people are raving about it.
The only problem is I need to get it shipped to the UK and that seems a bit difficult, probably gunna have to Ebay it.
Yeah man it'll be a few weeks/ month before I get it but I'll definitely post a review after some good use ;)

try a vaporbat ...works off a car lighter...gives excellent hits too $20

Extraction temperature is adjusted by altering the distance of the bowl to the end of the intake "slider" style.

Normally i would be in bed by now, but me and my lady have rather different sleeping patterns and as such i'm rahter often up until 4-5pm on skype, she'll be the dath of me

Here's a quote from research kitty, who while i've had my tiffs with, i still respect his/er opinion when it comes to smoke
Beta, couldnt agree more. The Persei hit nicely for a few days, now its back to the weak cartridges that are half full like the Omicron. I wouldnt recommend it unless you have money and oil to burn. I'll sell it to a guy I dont like much in a few months once it starts to break.
So there, that's my review. Thanks!

I want a volcano vape SOOO bad.....
I am a smoker alas, and being from the Uk cannabis means mixed with tobacco, so as such vapes don't quite do it for me in that i notice the lack of the nicotine high, but well, when i do use my volcano which is admitedly about 10 times in the year+ i've had it, it crushes your mind like a steamroller could only imagine doing so. They're a LOT of money, but god damn they don't half do the job they're inteded for :D Incidentally, when i bought mine i got a glass vape pretty much identical to the vaporbat posted above, and while they work soto speak, you can get maybe a crumble of weed in there at best, don't even think about putting some oil or hash in the bottom, and it is just a pain in the arse and you end up not high, unless as i say you have a stupid tolerance.

I seem to be building up a whole drawer of portable vapes that ust do not warrant me wasting my time with them.

have you checked out either of the arizer towers? (arizer.com) i have the extreme q: 1/3 msrp of the volcano, superior heating element (strictly imo; ceramic>metal), more options. the only thing it doesn't have is the snazzy mouthpiece-click thingy.

So, in all you dont like it..? We're both smokers too me and the Mrs of both cannabis and tobacco We've just been thinking about our health now that we're in our 50's and our lungs are like little raisins hanging on a vine from decades of smoke:)

i have had the extreme Q for about a month and its impressed me and friends .... i was VERY cynical at first, and wasn't happy at all for a day or so until I got it properly dialled in,
and then, wow, indeed it crushes my mind ! I also find it has forced me to slow down and enjoy the experience a bit more again - where as before i used to just hit the bong, cough my guts up, and then out the
door - now i turn on the Q, get my coffee ready, come back, sit down for 15 mins and toke away, no coughing, i dont even need my hands has a remote !! hell yes !! and the quality is really good too all glass and
ceramic ... also the old stuff youve vaped can be used to make brownies or re-vaped at a higher temp ( this sends me to sleep) - yes im a convert , ohh and i can breath again ...

I have the iolite WISPR and I have to say it is pretty great to be honest.

Its so much more discrete than a joint out in public, and your clothes hair and fingers dont stink afterwards.

I bought it about a month ago for $180 shipped on ebay and have used it every day since then and its still going strong.

the extreme is glass to glass... & the area for weed exposure is to small compaired to the volcano

My manual volcano has lasted me over 10yrs of daily use.... left on 15 hrs a day everyday

My elbow and my coupler I have to use with the extreme have both cracked with use...now I know why they included extra ones
