my friend got charged with a felony for not even carrying an ounce in Arizona, so i dont know what these people are saying about it being a leniet state. And if your that close, why not just cross over to cali, where noone truly cares about ganja.
Arizona Travel Brochure.....

"Come to Arizona for vacation and leave on probation!"

Not grow friendly.

I think Alaska may be a bit more lenient, simply because of logistics.
yeah, but then again, off the same website it says:

'Possession of less than 25 plants is protected under the Alaska Constitution’s right to privacy (See Ravin v. Alaska). Possession of 25 or more marijuana plants is “Misconduct involving a controlled substance in the fourth degree” and is punishable by a fine of up to $50,000 or five years in prison.'

Alaska seems fairly lenient on personal grow ops as well. Don't know if I would want to retire there, but seems very pot friendly.
I believe this would be the cold, hard answer. A guy/gal could grow a LOT of bud on 25 plants, shaped and lit.

Contrary to popular belief, it is still illegal to produce and sell marijuana in Holland. It's not always about what is on the law books. The Dutch in their infinite wisdom have decided to keep it illegal and regulate it at the same time. BRILLIANT!!

I can remember a time when I was caught with an ounce of Gold in a elementary school parking lot on a Saturday. The officer took the bag, dumped it out on the pavement in a neat pile and told me he didn't want to see me back here when he came through that same area in a couple of hours. He left, I scooped up my weed and learned a lesson about attitudes that day.

If that happened today, I would be all over your front pages, at the age of 13, branded a criminal deviant.

We don't have to change the laws. We have to change the attitudes. Laws follow attitudes, or at least they should in a Democracy.

Arizona...? Get this shit, a buddy of mine that goes to ASU got caught with a pipe. JUST A PIPE!!! and he got charged with 3 felonies, including INTENT to posses. what kind of bullshit is that. I personally know at least 3 people who have gotten caught with weed by cops, and they went to court, no fine, no drug classes, no permanent record, NOTHING. Weed possession in CA is even less of an offense than most moving traffic violations.

Barry Goldwater left an indelible mark on that state that shall not soon go away. Combine that with 75% of the population over 60, and bingo, you have Arizona.

who in the heck can afford to live in cally? wouldn't you have to be pretty well off just to move there and try to set up a grow with the cost of rent (cost of living) etc?

and does having the 'medical' pass actually make it legal for you to grow a certain number of plants there?

how do you get into growing for dispensaries? and can't the feds still seize all ur shite, just like they do at the dispensaries whenever they want? fed law isn't going to change any time soon.

Well, in short, the FEDS trumps everybody, for now. That's what the U.S. Civil War was really about. Guess who lost?

Medical marijuana lives and dies at the whim of the FEDS. Luckily, the western states have the 9th court, the biggest bunch of hippies to ever put on a robe, in their corner. Woohoo!! Hippies!!

Good luck.
