Which Setup would Produce Higher Yeild?

Given the same conditions, 6x4 sq. ft., soil medium, 2x600watts...

Which would produce a higher yeild over all?

few plants, less space, 5-6, super cropped and bushed out

or

more plants, 12-14, maybe topped once

Im trying so see which would be best for the size of my flower room.

Also, which Hydro Setup would be best/easiest for either methods?

THANK YOU!!!

Completely depends on the strain. Some strains do better using the Sea Of Green (SOG) method, while others do better having full light penentration past the canopy.

If you choose to have more plants, you will have to make sure you cut the bottom 3 - 5 branches off your plants to get rid all the small budding spots that wont get enough light through the canopy, and will only take away nutrients and growth from the upper most buds.

Personally I always like to go with less plants, and more topping and super cropping. Usually a lot less work in the end. Less medium to buy, less nutrient use, easier to get access to individual plants should you have any problems with pests or diseases.

But it's always up to personal choice, and your abilities. Some people have better skills with some methods than other methods.

Depends on how long you want to veg also. To do fewer plants you would need extra time to veg them to a larger time so I'd go more plants shorter veg.

For Hydro probably DWC is the easiest way to start out and it gives great yields.
