Which setup is better ??? LIGHTS

What would be the best on a 4x4 hydro table:

4 x 250w hps lights

2 x 600w hps lights

1 x 1000w hps lights

And do you have any experiences with air-cooled closed reflector or tubes, how good are they, do they really worth it ??

2 600 hands down, and cool tubes are the best at keeping them cool. if you do get 2 600 watt hps your room will rock.

two 600's by a landslide. It is a proven fact that they are your best " bang for buck " by a lonnnng shot. I wish I used 6 x 600 watts instead of 4 1000 watts for my grow because I woulda had better energy effeiciency and more bud IMO.

I say 2 600 . Thats what I got for now. I like the aircooled hoods better than the cooltubes.

And what about the heat, does it generate a lot more than a single 1000w ??

you will have more heat because of the extra ballast, but it's worth it imo.600 and 1000 get super hot so get yourself some good fans.

i run 1 600hps along with a 400cmh it realy rocks but yeah of what you picked 2 600s
