:leaf:new to this whole growing thing, me and a friend are going to be growing outdoors in the u.k. and besides my many hours or research im still unsure of which seeds to purchase can anyone give me a little advice?
thanks

hey despite the lack of help from you guys lol thanks, i did abit more research and managed to get hold of a small greenhousey kinda thing about 1m tall, i bought five lowryder 2 x ak 47 seeds and plated them in small pots, at first all five sprouted but unfortunatley 3 of them only survived a few days before dying, i don't know why this is and would be greatful if anyone could offer me some advice, thanks ill keep you posted on how the little guys do lol

thanks

just a guess but maybe the greenhouse overheated and cooked them. Do not use a small greenhouse in full sun without a vent open.

Cant see you getting any good results in the uk, am from the uk and would never consider outdoor, your last ones might of died due to you not feeding them, or lack of air, if you do get a hot day they will need air from a vent, best of luck to you fella ok, start small and keep it simple, no such thing as easy cash or easy weed, you get back what you put in.

ye they werent in the green house at first just on the window sill and they only went in the green house about 4 days once they had their 'spikey' leaves lol but ye i see what ure sayin about the green house and ive been sure to leave the vent open. cheers anyway

dont waste your money on seeds if you havent grown before... things like what happened to you already are bound to happen... i mean you basically just wasted however much you spent on those seeds.. get yourself some bag seeds... they dont have to be great seeds... just something to practice with... being book smart about growing and actually growing are two very different things.... just cause you know how to grow doesnt mean you know HOW to grow... so practice a little... save your money and invest in good nutes and good lights and water meters and ph meters and the other things you need to be a successful grower... in reality the seeds are a very little part in the whole thing.... learn how to crawl before you try to walk or your going to end up falling over and over again...

Put them in the green house when they are bigger and just little srronger, they wont like the cold nights in the uk dude, the uk is a funny place to do outdoor, just watch with greenhouse on wondering eyes ok, the more you visit the place the more someone will be keeping an eye on yous, pitty it wasn't a bigger house, then you could also do tomatos as a nice we cover up, but rule one fella, TELL NO CUNT OK.

All good avise its up to you now if you want to take it.

ye cheers guys, all great advice, just to justify my actions a little lol, i understand completely what ure sayin about knowing how to grow, its all about experience n stuff, but the reason i bought those seed was basically because of their size (easy to hide) i don't think im gona have any problem with them being seen coz where theyre growing in my mates house is welll outta the way, i mean i live out in the stick but his house is lterally 20 miles form the nearest town, but cheers guys im takin a trip into town 2moz to buy a few estentials. ive also got sum seeds from baggies germinating under lights in another mates house and once theyre large enough theyll b going in the ground outside with the others but not in any kind of green house just exposed to the elements, hopefully theyll survive, but ill let you know how the 'little girls' get on, thanks again guys any more advice is welcome, peace out

hey, just a little update. the two plants thats we had left, one was still going but looked very weak, in the end we abandomed this plant, but the sole remaining plant is going very strong, weve got a temp gage in the green house and weve been feeding the plant regulary. at tho moment shes about 7 inches tall, and seeing as shes a dwarf she might get about another 7 inches but that about it. As for the baggie seeds well theyre on arrival today, and hopefully theyll survive but hey nothing lost nothing gained.
ill keep u posted.

hey guy me agen, ermm we just moved the plant from a small pot where it germinated into the ground, we spoke to a friend who is a veteran grower of many years, and he said to test the soil first, which we did and was fine, then di a hole and mix in compost with the soil, then gently pu tthe plant in. so te plants in under a small polytunnel, thats all cool, but he also said to give them tomato plant food, but we were unsure about this and i sai id consult on here first, so can anyone give me some advice on which plant food to use and how much, bearing in mind the plant is only around 6-7 inches tall
