What I mean is. By distilling you are boiling off the product leaving behind the unwanted stuff. As you know heat will break down thc into cbd (i think it's cbd), a less desirable product if you are after the high.
I think the thc breaksdown into cbn. And that only occurs from heating and I think naturally over time (after a long time). So it's hard to really say? In order to distill, we need to heat it at a certain temp, I know alcohol is 177f but not sure if it is the same for cannabis. So in theory the thc should*** be slightly degraded but it could make your end product stronger even though the thc percentage has dropped a bit.

I almost think of it as reclaim, reclaim is a pretty pure form of an extract, cbn even. (thc converted since the nail was hot), technically any heavy metals would be on the nail. Reclaim is pretty damn strong, effect wise, but it is low thc. But potency, it feels pretty strong (for me at least). So really I don't know if heat will make a poorer product really. I think I lost where I was going but this works..

There's that whole big debate, the only reason you get "so high" from cannabis is because you are using heat to decarboxylating the product. Via lighter with buds, hot nail with extracts, the oven with edibles. So personally I don't think heat will degrade the product unless you abuse the heat.

Chloroforms BP is 61.2 C or 142.2 F. I have high hopes for this.
