Which OG Seed Strain should I grow?

My first seed purchase was Sannie's JH F7's and they are impressing me more everyday. Seeing Trich production even in veg. Now I need to purchase seeds for my second run and I want an OG or OG dominant cross. I like Sativa's but if they are hybrids or even 60/40 Indica I really wouldn't mind. I've been thinking about CC's Tahoe OG or Headband 818 but I like buying from breeders with good customer service and his has been suspect at best, still undecided on swerve. Others I've been thinking about are:

Reserva Privada's:
Kosher Kush
Skywalker OG Kush
OG #18

DNA's:
Holy Grail Kush
Exodus Kush

Rare Dankness's:
Scott's OG
OG Ghost Train Haze #1
" " " #2

Any opinions from anyone who has grown any of these strains will be appreciated or any other strain suggestions will be appreciated.

From what i've seen people seem to have mixed feelings about all the company's you've listed though i haven't personally grown or looked into any of those besides the skywalker og....which I heard was not true to the skywalker cut.

I can tell you that I have heard and seen great things from bodhi's goji og, Any of OG raskals fire og crosses, anything mixed with the alien kush cut deriving from las vegas purple kush, Or any of karma genetics biker kush crosses....those off the top of my head always seem to come out straight fire.

CC's tahoe og is considered one of the best dispite swerves questionable rep. If you can get over the low yields people seem to always find a keeper. Hopefully some of that helped!

You have listed are good choices imo. I will be cycling a holy grail kush in about 16 days and boy that baby is frosty and the sour smell is coming out even with agent oranges I have in there. I have some kosher in veg atm and they are healthy. 40's provided some excellent examples as well now your decision has become harder.

That's the thing with the Tahoe OG, no matter who I have talked to they have said it is straight dank. The only thing holding me up on pulling the trigger is it being CC. I try to give him the benefit of the doubt but every post he makes makes that hard to do. I went with Sannie because I knew no matter what happened I would get my seeds.

mmmmm.... just looked into the Karma Bear OG, definitely going on my list. Thanks for the info. Still undecided so any other opinions are welcome.

Ya in another thread I was just skimming through wyteberrywidow just said dna's og is bomb....he def knows his shit to so that sounds like a go ahead for them. If i remember right cali i seen a side by side of the og 18 vs kosher vs holy grail kush and I remember the holy grail coming out on top by quite a bit, atleast his pheno did....though the kosher has perked my interest a bit I just already have too much shit to grow through lol.

off topic....I had some agent orange and though shittely grown that is definitely some orange ass smelling weed haha I knew the kid wasnt lyin about the strain thats for sure

edit: if you get the cc' beans from the tude you will get them no doubt. And I havent heard of any major problems from the recent batches of the tahoe...but again I wasn't specifically looking. I look at it this way man I'm sure a good majority of companies are owned by dbags....but if they have a dank ass product I take it at face value. I would seriously look into the yield of it tho...I've heard it is waaaaay below average lol....like low enough to be a deal breaker for some despite its dank factor

Ya I was thinking either Attitude or Herbies. I'm not really worried about yield, I grow hydro RDWC and have grown 4 strains including a NL cut, SSH x OG cut (that I had when I had my room in the attic and no real veg room so I couldn't keep mothers) and 2 bagseed strains. All came out with very nice yields with the NL coming out to a pound and a half off of 2 monster plants and considering I grow for personal medicinal use, I don't really need to worry about yield, I'll have smoke all the time.

Grown it and I'm currently growing it again. 1 in soil, 1 in hydro. Excellent bud. Tastes/smells like Lemon Pledge. 1 hit and you'll feel it. Voted the best in my house last year.

I've been more then pleased with either tho attitude tends to have better freebies. Canna collective also has some unique shit not found anywhere else that im in the process of trying.

I actually just made a udwc....out of curiosity whats your light setup, nute reg, and bucket size if you dont mind me asking?

HRH....what were the yields like with the og13? I gave my freebie to one of my friends...might have to rethink that lol. Im pretty lightweight so yield and flavor come first for me...I want the most lemony og their is

Ya, I hear ya. But That's why I went with Sannie, he's not. He's one Breeder I'll buy from again, I just want to try and find a good OG mother first.

Right on, even won a little house hold contest, I like it. Ya, I do a 4 system RDWC right now but I've been thinking about cutting it down to two and running two organic soil plants. The hydro for me takes way longer to cure to get it's true taste and smell. Some people say Hydro doesn't taste as good as soil and I agree up to a certain point, but if you actually dry and cure it correctly and let it cure for 1.5 to 2 months, you get that taste. Everyone in my circle preferred the taste and smell of my 2.5 month cured NL over a fellow veterans growers organic grown bud from the same mother.

I use 400 watt MH for veg. and 1000 Watt air-cooled HPS for bloom on a track that moves it very slowly back and forth for about 1 foot. I use Distilled Water with Cal/Mag and for Nutes I'm finishing off my AN Sensi A,B grow nutes for Veg. which have lasted forever along with their additives Voodoo Juice, B-52, Bid Bud, Overdrive, and Final Phase. For Bloom I switched to Dyna Gro Bloom and their Pro-Tekt and Mag Pro and am also using nutes I previously mentioned of AN. I'm actually only using 3.5 gallon buckets(4) with a 20(I think) gallon Res. and a top res. connected to the bottom res with a float between the two to add solution from the top res. to the bottom res. as the system loses solution due to evaporation and plant uptake. I only use the top one if I'm going away for a period of time. I will be doing Sannies JH F7's Grow Journal in the grow journal section very soon. I have 8 just about to show sex and I need 4 females so If you want to check out my room there will be pictures in that thread. I'll pry have it up in a few days.

I'm getting ready to pop a pack of the new "OG Kush" from GDP Genetics. Crossed with the TRUE Tahoe OG that Swerve used in his "Tahoe OG" (True Tahoe Og x SFV Ogk).

Ya Sannie def comes at the top of list when it comes to happy customers. Helps he actually breeds and works on stabilizing his lines instead of just putting out a ton of new shit.

I'm not gonna pretend and sit here that im some kind of pot genius lol I only have a few grows under my belt...but from the consensus of what i've read and in my limited experience I feel like a perfect dry has more to do with it then cure or grow medium....what are your thoughts on this?

Man those are some sick ass yields with a single 1000 watt especially considering your not growing vert! really an lb and a half off those two nls?! The one I just made is an 8 site in 21 gallon totes. I would be siked to get those numbers off 2 plants even with the bigger set up!

In terms of nutes what does your ppm/tds/ec look like? I also use dyna gro after reading a great comparison that homebrewer wrote proving DG does atleast just as good for far less money....but do you feel that the extra AN additives help?

I have the original OGkush cut and all the phenotypes of OG13 I've gotten so far are better in growth+yields+same or better potency than the original cut
I even gave my original og cut back to the couple that gave it to me and they wanted my cuts after smoking some with them.

By saying "talking it up" I didn't intend to insinuate that they were feeding you a line of bullshit. I was just saying that you can tell they definitely have confidence in the strain, and that's always nice. Which OG kush pheno did you have? Man, you guys are not making this easy.

Ya, the crazy part of that pound and a half off of two plants was that It was my first Indoor grow ever. I LST'd them and vegged them for way to long so each had 10-15 tops with a lot of the tops drying out to a OZ themselves. You know whats funny is Homebrewers comparison grow is what got me to switch to Dyna-gro. My honest opinion is Advanced is better than most nutes out there, but basically double the price is not worth the unnoticeable difference to the untrained eye to me. I only used AN A,B Bloom through two cycles and only fully through that pound and a half grow and while it was the nutes I used when I grew the best and most I've have to date, I just don't see a big enough difference to justify paying that. And I haven't even use DG with their additives PT & MP yet so technically that could change and probably will.

As for EC/TDS, I haven't had a grow yet where I haven't gave them nute burn. I use to run as high as 2.2 EC(.7 conv.) but now after tons and tons of research, I realize that because I'm running recirculating I should be running from half to 3/4 nutes. So this run I'm not going over 1.4 no matter what because I have quite a big pump that moves the solution at quite a rate.

I'm not genius grower either but I can tell you anyone who has seen my grow room and plants in action and the product has said I have quite a greenthumb.

Oh forgot to mention havent grown this strain of theirs but have grown their blue cheese which rocked ( had the sativa domi phenos). Tahoe Og by Big Buddha seeds. I have smoked it and was dank. Apparently they hacked CC's version of tahoe og but they did mention where it came from.
