which light are better

the cfl how can you get diffrent spectrum how can you tell by the watts or what

you can look at it this way. It doesn't mater what light you use. watt for watt they put off the same heat. I use cfl's to veg and hps to flower. "400w"

you want light with a ct of 2700k. I keep seeing all kinds of 60-250w self balist lights out. I've used the 42w 2700k lights. more is beter but be carefull of the heat. This is one under a 100w cfl in veg. she is a mom. 3 months old. sorry it's sideways. I need to snap a new pic that I can edit.

k mine is small and little bushy about 12'' id say so can i go ahead and put on 12/12. ill have pics soo as i find my cam

i did have a 200 watt holg and a 200 watt grow halg but i have read to not to use them

you read right. Bad lights for growing. If your doing one plant. Ideal would be 80w with 3 42w on the sides. But you could use 3-4 42w. just remember cfl's are kinda week so your buds will be a smaller then with a hps. mh and hps just can't be beat atm.

hps will it screw into my light socket or is it a specail setup and does walmart sell hps do u know in us

hps is a ballast setup as far as I know. even the small ones.
Go with the cfl's. I've been growing for a few years and every grow is beter then the last. live, learn and upgrade as you can.

Ive went and bought 6 26 watts cfl lights but i need 2 know are these good for veg or flow or both and how 2 tell what color or 6500-2700 im clueless the box dont say coolwhit of any hting and there GE kind and there 1750 lumes plez help

I don't know. But using cfls you might be beter off going to 12/12 sooner then later. I shoot for something around 2' before flower.
