which is better for sog..from seed or from clone

which is more ideal for sog method to maximize yeild...from seed til about 6-8inches tall or from clone 12/12 as soon as rooting has begun? or veg the clones for about a week or so til there about 6-8inchs?
will be growin under a 400w hps cool tube thanks guys

bang..thanks dude i appreciate it! you think if i clone then and throw em into veg after rootin starts until they get to about 8 inches thatll be a decent yeild for a sog plant?

Cloning is always better unless you're trying to breed the plants. Guaranteed females every time with predictable results.

Clones will also let you keep a nice even canopy and make sure the whole table has the same feeding requirements.

I put my clones into flower when they are 6-12 inchs tall. When they stop stretching, they usually average 2 to 3 feet tall. And with proper triming I get some pretty decent colas
