IMG_0181[1].jpgIMG_0185[1].jpgIMG_0182[1].jpgIMG_0178[1].jpgHey Im growing a strawberry cough indoors in a 5 foot box in my closet. Im in my tenth week of flowering and there is almost NO resin at all. The hairs are all amber and it looks ready to pull, except theres nothing on it. It did hermi at the begining but i stopped it by putting some drops of bushmaster where the balls were growing. they didnt come back, but i got seeds regardless on the lower buds. i cant find any on the top buds. It suffers from some heat stress because of the box and theyre height. I open it during the day most of the week to let it stay cool. It hermi'd at begining of flower when the power went out for a bit before the end of theyre day...and came back on. should have turned it off i dont know why i didnt and im kicking myself. Almost forgot! was spraying the buds with bushmaster in an attempt to stop theyre upward growth, main bud was still growing up so i put a drop on the top. seemed to work. altho the tip of it looked burned for a little while.

Im going to take some pictures and will have them up soon.

I also have a bubblegum in there and its got plenty of resin on it, which is great except it drowned during flower because my air stone was under the sc root ball. So its got this tiny ass root and probably like 5g on it.

I had a very successful Big bud in there before this. Which also had heat stress. Turned out fine but theyre were alot of burnt edges.

I run in a 6planter dwc from stealth hydro. Was using theyre nutes but ran out of flowering and switched to dutchmaster gold maybe half way thru. 2 150 watt HIDs and 3 fans in theyre to keep them as cool as possible. For awhile i left the fans all of during dark, changed it so intake fan is going 24/7. I cant think of anything else atm. Any help will be GREATLY appreciated! Ive been trying to grow this sc for the past year, got all males except for this one :(.

1.)bad genetics 2.) too much heat not enough stress 3.)to much of the wrong color light all those things can add to your problems so i suggest letting it frost over once or twice to simulate winter conditions, if you have anything other then the hps use if for the rest of flower. really no reason to harvest wihtout thc so just keep growing it out i have seen this once before and frezzing it helped.

Do u mean freezing? I never heard of frezzing before. Heard of fimming, not frezzing lol. I dont have another light, i could turn one of them off to lower the heat. And yea i know, im not taking it out till i see some resin

yea, freeze them. stick them outside in the elemtns for a few days if you can and they should crystal up...good luck

You have to cool it down in there, too hot and u got stringy ,spindley mongrel heads, but they still have a few more weeks.Get an exhaust fan and get rid of the warm air causing this.

I just turned off one of the lights today. So it should stay much cooler in there. The other plant i have in there is nice and frosty, so its kind of strange that this is going on. Theres absolutely no way for me to put them outside. At best i can put ice in the water everyday. Not sure if thats a good idea tho. I was feeding it dutchmaster gold. I put all the details in my first post. Heres a picture of the cola of the bubblegum i got in there.

no, dont freeze the roots just the green. and dont spray it with ice water just lower the temps as much as possible i guess

Any other ideas besides too much heat? Im skeptical as to whether thats the problem or not still. Ive lowered the temp tho, so well see.

You can tell by the foxtails at the tops of the nugs they had too much heat, there's absolutely NO crystals on the calyxes themselves? Some strains just dont frost up the leaves

um, I still say it looks too dry and you need more humidity, it may be too late for this grow and you might have to just try again

Still no change. At this point ive given up hope for the strawberry cough and am focusing on the bubblegum. Cut the roots of the sc cause they were in the way, and pulled it to one side.

No, no crystals at ALL. I took one of the lights out so it doesnt go above 84 when im not home. The only possible thing i can think of is the bushmaster that i was spraying on the buds caused this? Wanted to control their height. But even the lower buds that couldnt have gotten sprayed have no resin whatsoever. It makes me very sad.
