Squirrel thing happened to me, raccoon thing happened to my in-laws in east Texas and my parents home not too far away(20 miles. In DFW, that's not too far).

yeah, i remember when i was a kid we lived on large property and had 'em all..jersey woods..nothing like it!
deer, squirrel, raccoon rabbit..bow and arrow paradise.
we had squirrels in our attic and my dad got those long metal traps.
