I know a couple of guy's who scored major rentals, off craigslist or by word of mouth. Don't be afraid to put an add on craigslist describing exactly what your looking for......this place is a rental, complete with greenhouse & solar system & well & tractor......the rent is a little steep, but ???:eyesmoke:

Did you find this place sort of like middle of the year?
It's cheaper in the winter to find a place iv kind of noticed.
I like just looking at the places for rent or sale on craigslist.... ha window shopping for me.lots of people open to 20 to 40k for the year with multiple acres though.

Nice spot! Did you have to pay all up front I was kind weary of that would rather of half now half at the end.

Mariposa County, the land is cheap (comparatively speaking) most lots are 5 aces minimum. The board of supervisors just passed a law earlier this year limiting each patient to 12 plants each with a total of 24 plants( 2 recommendations) per parcel. You should be able to get plenty off 24 plants.
Good luck my friend,

Do these ordinances change every year like could for 2015 could this be different or get a spot and then 2016 they ban it?

They found this spot last winter. I don't really know all the details of the rental agreement, but this place is also for sale, & I think he told me he could buy it for the price of 3 years rent. :weed:

Yeah I see these deals all the time on craigslist in the winter and spring. It's amazing to think they are all occupied with massive gardens.

Yes, water delivery would be very expensive. You might be better off looking into a water treatment system.
You could buy 50 teens & plant them now and still pull 100lbs.......
Hah yeah I wish I could, hopefully next year I can do something bigger then my usuall backyard grow ha.

Crazy that this guy was going to use 300s I havnt seen anyone using anything bigger then 200s, he was panning on some serious trees I wonder if the water thing came up last minute of they didn't test it till the the end and were like fuckkk just lease it.

Not really, 300's are just as common as 200's up here....these were probably left from last season....

I've been here 12 years now and love it. It definitely gets hot here, thank god for the Merced river. I had an artesian well, but my new neighbor drilled his well, hit an artesian well (20 gallons per minute) that dried mine up, well I'm down to a trickle. I had to put a pump in, but I have no dry well issue here like many in this county has. Very little mold issues here, the bats keep the moth population down, so very few caterpillars.
What part of Mariposa did you grow up at, and when did you move from here?

There is another rental grow property a few miles from ours that they looked at first, but didn't rent. It has 3 very large greenhouses. After talking to the neighbors it's a good thing they didn't rent it. Apparently about 5 seasons ago it was raided by the feds & contained 1,500 plants. No one has pulled a crop out of there since. They rent it out every year....and the feds raid it every year.....and so it goes....
