SOCO MMJ (Southern Colorado Medical Marijuana) is a cool place for quarters and up now and then, being their minimum selling weight. I'm loving these glass jars they vacuum seal, too.

Today they have a special durban poison quarters at $32.29

Regarding Fear and Loathing, "the only thing that worried me was the ether" is still a quote to learn something from.

And Kind Love on Alameda was a great experience, really a fine group of people running a very good operation. I liked the discreet parking arrangement and it was very cool to have a bouncer at the door who escorted people to and from their cars, really a friendly place that makes you feel comfortable and welcome. The buds were a little on the high side as far as cost, but not bad, and the quality was good for both buds and fresh medibles.

I haven't been to a dispensary since I learned to grow the " kind " ( 4 years ? )

I grow just as good if not better then most dispensaries...( all my friends say so )

And lastly when I smoke what I grow, I know exactly what I'm inhaling ( purity, consistent taste and quality, strains, flush time etc )

I get my clones ( usually 2 weeks from flowering size ) really cheap from the same person for years. He definitely knows how to breed and grow. He used to grow for dispensaries and now just focuses on breeding and clones.

Go mad scientist go !

Yea, Kindlove is steep in price, they treat me and wife well tho and we like the bouncer as well(wife likes to go and chat with him cus she Hawaiian too). Quality of most strains and service is top notch tho really... as far as growing > buying at disp..well of course you can put more time and care into your crop than a commercial op but the post was asking for places to try... And cant run 300+ strains in a home garden so being able to run around town and try things has its benefits.. no idea how many strains ive decided to try more or put on TO GROW list just because i tried some out somewhere.

Heh, Fear and Loathing has been one of my personal faves since it came out..watched it so many times starting to feel like im having flashbacks when i watch it on the rare occasion now days. Hunter S Thomson books worth a read if ya haven't..

The doorman at Kind is a 'bruddah' from HI and we chatted about the islands and the Hawaiian sovereignty movement a bit, very cool. Hell yes I read the gonzo journalist's best book, a true American classic. And you sure got that right, it is nice to check out what's new at a dispensary, I got some medibles and some new high CBD strains during my visit and can find out about Panacea and Lucy without growing them for 4 months. :bigjoint:

The Treehouse. Just started going and may never go back to another. Just tried the mob boss and super lemon haze. Both were amazing and the prices are reasonable. ( which always helps) also they have great customer service. I met BadAndy and he showed me some upcoming buds that look out of this world. One had all purple nugs, almost looked like blackberry.

I'm off to The Treehouse right meow. I would love to sample their mob boss.

I've had The Healing Canna's, and their batch tasted like candy but could have gotten me higher =\

A Cut Above is a good place
While I somewhat agree, they do have some good flowers, Dog-waltz, and their pre-98 bubba is super dank.

I don't know how they make their ” special wax”, the young lady didn't know much about the product, just said..

” we have an exclusive in-house wax producer”...um, okay...

Please do not smoke their in-house wax, it's very reminiscent of some full melt bubble.

From the look of it, it's obviously been whipped to get to the budder stage.

I never suggest whipping your bho extracts, as the whipping action incorporates air and environmental contaminants.

The whipping action actually TRAPS butane from escaping the raw oleoresin.

Air inside the Matrix of the oil will lead to degradation of the oil, i.e...loss of taste, terpenes, and overall quality..the degradation occurs somewhat quickly, so, if you wanna whip...make smaller batches, so you can vape it up before it's loses potency.

I also suggest, going thru the process of reaching the shatter stage BEFORE whipping..this will assist in purging your primary slovenet out.

Oh, jeez, sorry..once I get posting on making errls, I get a tad long-winded..haha
Sorry bout that.

One last thing, when you make an absolute...whipping is nearly impossible, it turns to like spun glass, really cool image, wish I still had
It in my portfolio.

Damn dudes...I'm missing out on the Treehouse.

Fuck me...lol

With not one negative thing to say about them anywhere...

I can't figure out why I haven't been there yet...sob.

How is there concentrate game?.. I'd love to be able to just buy some good oil, on a consistent basis.

I'm so damn tired of paying 25-40 bucks for a lousy gram of oil, that I gotta re-purge, so I can vape without coughing up one of my testicles..haha.

I may stop blasting until I get my garden rolling...I mean I plan on flipping entire plants, top buds and all into the best oil in the world...haha, j/k..maybe?

But, damn stuffing expensive dank ass buds into my tube...just costing way too much cash.

I really want to work at a dispensary guys..of anyone can help me, I'd be extremely grateful..hint, hint.

Yeah man the Treehouse...go there and you won't be disappointed. Their flowers are the .most beautiful I have seen and does the job 200 % better than say the competition. As far as hash I have only tried theirs twice and has had my head spinning. Go in and talk to them I'm sure they will answer any question you may have....the whole crew there rocks. Infact I was going to make them my caregiver yesterday but I didn't know how long it take and I was pressed for time as well.

I'm up north too, and have found Flower Power to be decent, though (1) someone had a thread about getting sick from their edibles, so I may have just had good experiences (perhaps related to number 2), and (2) I always research before going in, meaning that I look at what they've got in stock and on sale, research those strains to make sure they're what I want, look at the genetics (i.e., seedfinder, for instance) to get a feel for the lineage (love Jack Herer or OG Kush parents), then head in.

However, thanks to the folks on this site, I'm going in less and less these days, and am close to not having to go at all to support my and my wife's (fairly high) use!

(And sorry for all the parenthesis...I often think in subtext when I'm "up" this early.)
