Where can i get lighting supplies?

I just need to know if there is a chain store or something where i can get a metal halide light. I have a Home Depot, Fleet Farm (mainly Wisconsin people know what this is) and Menards near by. Do any of these places carry?

High Tech Garden Supply its not hard to look around either, i dont live where you live i dont know where they sell it.

go to a hydroponics store.. if none order online

Fleet Farm has them as "security lights" only up to 250W I believe.

strangerdude562, please read the first comment before you post, I re-posted it for you to read. I believe he is trying to avoid a hydro store and get a cheapo conversion DIY 150W MH from Fleet Farm or Lowes. I checked at Menards the other day and they had nothing over 100W.

Please post helpful stuff no one is on here to be treated like retards.

ebay is the best bet

ebay is nice, but you could always google for hydroponic supplies stores in your area.


also try craigslist.org. theres usually someone in town with a MH or HPS for sale in my town, and you can discreetly call them or email them, and even send a friend to pic it up for you if you are shy.

in fact, just for shits and giggles, i just checked in my local area, and came up with 3 X 250 double ended hamilton bulbs with 3 enclosures and the guy's even throwing in some 3 foot flouros and an extra MH bulb all for 300$. i think i have a phone call to make... lol
