Where are the damn buds???

I have one unknown strain growing in my attic (DWC) thats been flowering 12/12 since January 1st (almost 6 weeks now). I've been feeding her nothing but GH Flora Nova Bloom (950 ppm, 5.7 pH). Temperature has been between 70-85 degress over the past month and there's plenty of air flow.

This is a nice green bushy plant that has never shown signs of stress. She has lots of little pistil clusters all over her, but I've noticed that many of them are starting to turn brown. I know this is common, but what concerns me is this plant doesn't seem to be progressing. Pistil growth seems to have stalled and I see nothing along the lines of real bud development.

Am I just being impatient or should I look into accelerators or molasses to kickstart her growth?

Hmm...That would have been my guess too. Maybe just terrible genes. How did you obtain the plant? Seed, clone, bought, free?

I've heard of people adding an extra hour of darkness (11/13)to help jumpstart flowering, you could try that but idk since its already showing some flowers.

I grew her from a donated seed. She's the last of 4 (3 were males). I know it was probably stupid to grow an unknown strain, but my ultimate goal is to grow a white rhino. This was basically an expensive experiment to see if I could do it up there. I'm just stumped because the plant is so green and healthy and I've never seen any signs of stress.

Heheh. It doesnt "look" like a banana. Its about as thick as one. Just an 8" long tube...like in a fish tank hood....or a dildo.

I'm inclined to agree that genetics are probably a factor. Although the tri's on the top leaves have a delicious sticky pine smell. I wouldn't mind actually finishing the plant for the experience and for sentimental reasons. Killing it because of its genetics is a bit too "nazi-esque" in my opinion.

On that note, can anyone suggest an additive to help give it a boost? I was told GH Flora Nova Bloom has everything a plant needs to finish, but there's all kinds of goodies at my local hydro store which leads me to believe that there are probably other options.

General Hydro's Kool Bloom bud enhancer works well, packed with phosphorus and potassium. Molasses works well too as a more organic route, but almost every "line" of nutes has their own bud enhancer. I hope all turns out well, I wouldn't want to kill off a healthy femal like that!

bad genetics bro if you got no light leaks thats definitely the problem. i got a og kush seed from a buddy and although it looked allot like it has the same problem when my white widows are exploding with huge, dense ass buds she is still just barely flowering and this continues till the end i just stopped growing it all together just done with it. suchs too she is nice and big you prably put allot in her.

I too have to jump on the bad-genetics theory, but the light should not be 2 feet away either.
She's also not receiving adequate lighting/lumens, especially considering her height.
You want a 400W HPS 2 feet from the plants base/medium, with 30 inches the MAX !
Inverse Square Law.
She's a healthy beast no doubt !

so much noob advice. that plant you have is mostly pure sativa, just cut the light back another hour or hour and a half and the buds will take off. instead of 12/12 try 11/13 or 10/14. i have a mostly pure sativa i ran last grow, it did the same thing, it never took off till i cut the light back to 13 hours dark. im running it again in hydro with the lights on 10.5 hours light. gonna cut back to 10 even in a week or two. next time you grow it provided you havent killed it already and are gonna clone it, use light nitrogen, just the minimum to keep the leaves from yellowing up. im using lucas formula. i start a 6/16 then cut back gradually till i get down to 1.5/8 micro to bloom.

I already mentioned that.
