Where am i going wrong !!!

Omega pro 250-660w 6pm til 7am

Water every2-3 days
Feed miracle grow 1/4 strength every 5th water
I know i slowed 1 girl taking jer 2nd set true leaves out but shes coming back forming a lovely manifold the othe girl i tried some LST pinning her down evry new cm of growth i didnt take her crown until her 6 th set of true leaves so shes a lovely s shape with a VERY flexible stem my waters rainwater in the 6.8-6.9 range lightime temp 76.6 darktime temp 66.5 .12 inch fan on and extraction on when hps on they just seem so dam slow where am i going wrong help please??? : germinated 1/9 under light 16/9 this was 2nd day under 250w hps whitewidow#1 a) 2nd true leaf nipped out stunted her a bit b) whitewidow#1 i left the top in this girl but bent her right over my 1st attempt at LST shes now got a lovely strong FLEXIBLE s shaped stem i had to repot them both yesterday they were in just 25l pot of claypebble/coco/compost mix but i could tell they werent draining right so id got a big airpump at my disposal so i put 8" circular air stone in the bottom then 3 inch of clay pebbles then 7-8 inch of medium the air runs whilst hps runs which is 6pm-7am.15/9. A fortnight old hereboth my girls at a fortnight old one on right had her 2nd set of true leaves nipped out which i think is a kind of manifolding? Other girl left intact until 7th set of leaves nut shes been LST'd into an s shape with areally strong FLEXIBLE stem. both girls now 3wk 4days old do they seem slow? They do to me, i kno i stressed 1 taking the top so early and the situation with them getting waterlogged stressed them but they seem soo slow to me??? Any advice input be much appd

I don't understand your setup. Is the medium always moist or does it have a change to dry out? Never used a coco/pebble/compost mix. What made you choose that route?

Its what i had available to me i had clay pebbles and several bags of coco given me , but i love the earthiness you only seem to get with soil so a mix was the compromise and yes im letting plant dry before water i kno this my 1st grow under light but ive known growers all my life and grew up on a plant nursery so the science is there its just learning about lights and feeding really.

I am not familiar with those lights but you could have too much light for the younguns. Might wanna get the pH down a little. Make sure you have plenty of calcium in your feed since rainwater isn't offering any. LED grows tend to need a little more calcium

I only run the led for bout 6hr until electricity rate goes to economy then it switches to the omega set on the 250w setting, how long a)do i have to veg, b )can i veg for, is it a case of how longs the proverbial piece of string,but realistically how long on average for #1White Widow from seed to going 12/12 ROUGHLY.??.

Really it all depends on how big you want your plant to end up. Expect that strain to roughly double in size after flip to 12/12. Also you may wish to consider running 11 on and 13 off for flower. That will give you better results and save a little extra power.

Don’t you think you may be mucking with them a little by constantly changing their lighting source every day?

Miracle grow? Really... get something , anything better!

Should have put seedlings into fox farm ocean view soil. Has enough nutrients to grow them out to a decent size .

Recommend u go buy some ocean forest and transplant. Then do not feed anything for a couple weeks.

Lighting sounds crazy... simple ..leave light on for 18 hrs STRAIGHT 6 hrs off.. everyday.. then change to 12on 12 off to flower. For seedlings use one small light only until plants get more growth

Start at 6pm at night when cooler if worried about high temps.

get plant half the size you want it then change lights to 12/12

Thanks ev1 will try fox farn when i get paid entire op on a shoestring i was babysittin sun equip n owner gone hmp so thought may aswell borrow a bit so ive purchased the little tent n borrowed rest so its half starter kit half industrial grow tackle (lights, extraction, filtration,airpump etc) ive got rainwater ph at 6.9, rh at70% dark temp 65° light temp77° but thank the lord of ganja i think theyre firin. Up lights like that to save lekky in day and so far results appear fine once i switvg to flower that will be just hps and im going to try tge rurbo boost switch on the omega ballast supposedly bumps it up to 660w i havnt got a lumenometre to check hany1 knpw hpw long white widow takesnto mature once i switch lights down? Welcome to Roll it Up @Dosmokethereefa -- maybe you let this first grow be a chance to dial in your system. In an ideal system you might tweak something, but only one thing. When you change lots of things at the same time you won't know what did what.

You've gotten some good suggestions:

change your light scheme
change the nutrition you are using
change how and when you water

Are you going to do all those things at the same time?

Here's something else, coco and soil don't mix very well. Most water plants in soil differently than plants in coco. If I were you, I'd slow down, and give some thought to what's next, and put a sequence together.

Maybe the best idea you've gotten so far is to transplant into a soil like Fox Farms Ocean Forest. Maybe leave the two larger as they are and transplant the two smaller plants, when they are ready. In the meantime, you get ready. Then those two plants will be good for several weeks with the nutrition in the soil.

Meanwhile, maybe the first thing you do is change your light scheme to something more traditional. Then you gather some more stuff and read some more things. One change at a time.

Thanks for all input all noted and taken on board, ive done away with the MG switched to coco a+b i kno my lighting regime may seem a little "out there" but seems to be working the method in my maddness is because my entire little entrrprise is thru my old dears electricity meter she still has economy 7 so the tariff changes at 8pm so the 6 hrs btween 2pm and 8pm are expensive juice the 12 hr hps8pm til 8am is a cheaper rate im goin to start knocking an hour off every 3rd day til im at 12/12 in 2wks time so im not goin to mess them about any more than i must then im going to invest in a led or cob or 2 for my nxt attempt which will hopefully start from clones of the 2 best girls which will vastly reduce the length of time i have to run an 18/6 sched

Thanks for the input guys ive defoliaged both girls today clearly showing difference in strains now ! When lights go off in mornin its time for 24hrs dark then a12/12 sched the 3rd character is an auto that got completely snapped halfway thru flower that amazingly came bk 2 life!
