you need the experience of previous grows to know what an early harvested bud will be like when it is fully ready. it's hard to appreciate something you are yet to experience. try a couple weeks before harvest.

It's all experience. Cut a piece down now and dry it. Smoke it and tell me just how shitty it is.

most 56 day strains are completely shit to even take a sample from until like day 42. I've done it, and it was shitty.Really doesnt do your weed any justice.

today marks the first day of week 6 (ok, + or - a day or 2 lol) but not a day goes by that i don't ask myself the same question. it just seems that no matter what that bud will smoke like, i KNOW it isn't ready yet, and that's just gunna be one less bud that i harvest. feels like a waste. that says a lot too, cuz due to losing my job, i don't get to buy pot anymore, so i don't get to smoke til after harvest (and cure) =(

hehe trust me i have thought of this, but i just really dont have the money or the resources OR the space to do much more than a couple plants at a time =( really i have no intention of selling anything, and i do want a normal job. this is all about smoking for free and not needing to rely on friends and shady dealers to find me shit on 'their time'.
