When ya got too much to trim?

A buddy of mine had a bumper year.:-P The problem is: he just has too much to manucure b4 it starts drying up. He already put quite a few plants in buckets of water, to keep them fresh. Well, just like cut flowers, it has used up it's time.
Does anyone have any suggestions for a good way to keep things semi-fresh and not molding, so it does not dry out b4 it can be trimmed?

Why not hang the whole plant and trim after its dry?

It will be a bit harder to trim but none the less it will be done.

Maybe just chop of the fan leaves and hang the rest untill its dry.

It is hanging. It is just soo sticky, it will be a major pain in the ass to clean, when it dries out. Plus, it is in a barn and starting to show signs of mold.

Can you get some fans in there to move some air around? I wold think that would help with the mold issue.

Damn, So much bud that you can't even keep up with it. Must be nice:clap:

Wish I had some other tips. Hopefully someone else will.

the first thing you should do is log out of riu, then drive over to your buddies house and HELP him

get them out of the water if they are still in it. please.

put in fans, as mentioned above, if possible

if the buds are starting to mold--get those ones off and away and consider them trashed bc it is very bad to smoke moldy buds-- and get the other thick (non moldy) daddies off the stems right away and dry them on a screen where they will get plenty of air

As for the others--if it is overwhelming--just start w the fan leaves and the mid sized leaves near the buds--so they don't block air flow to the buds and cause more mold

then you get down to actually manicuring--super sticky huh?--well, scrape your scissors often--it makes it so much easier--and you can smoke the 'scissor hash'

You never want to dry buds in a damp dank musty dirty place--imo--but i know sometimes we gotsta do what we gotsta do--

Too many super sticky buds.....life is rough (:

GOOD LUCK--DON'T LET THOSE BUDS GO TO WASTE!!!!!!!

sounds like hes fucking it up... why are they in water? is he water curing them? if so, has he changed the water every day?

you need to let them hang dry with plenty of ventilation. of course it's sticky. cut the dried nugs into bags and bring them to your trimmers.

i worked for a commercial grower who would bring us 55-gallon drums of dried untrimmed nugs to work on. he would harvest everything, dry it well, and seal it in drums until it could be hand trimmed.

Get a couple close friends like said above and GET AFTER IT!!! i helped a friend trim couple plants it was fun too me kick some tunes on and roll some up and take breaks cause my hand was cramping bad...

just use paper bags, trim the big leaves let dry for a day, come back do the smaller leaves n save it so u can make bubble hash! bag it again or let it sit on a screen then jar it. Get people u know to work for smoke!!!!! trust me u havin too much bud is never a problem... the problem is all that cash left to spend LOL HAPPY HARVEST

Just get after it?? What do you think we have been doing for the last three weeks?
Also, how is anyone fucking up?:dunce: It is literally a fresh cut flower and stays healthy for about a week. A LOT easier to trim when fresh.
