The US will not fall. If anything it will be handed over by the people to the hands of a tyranical govt that has instilled fear in its weak citizens that can not and would not survive without their needed govt support. Everyday the govt reaches its grubby hands out for more and more power and the way they get it is by instilling fear. Fear of war, famine, and disease; therefore those are the tools they will use to convince the weak that we NEED the big brother govt. The problem really is that once we start giving the govt power that exceeds its established limits they will not stop at taking more, and we wont be able to stop them.

The first step towards our downfall... The Patriot Act, approved because the fear of the unknown and the dangerous.

A fictional movie that illistrates very well what I am saying is "V for Vendetta". The moral of the story is something everyone should really take to heart.

the world can not survive unless all men join as one

no not men of power/greed but real man you, me everybody

not likely is it, and power breeds greed and vice versa so there may be no possible solution we are far toooo gone i think

back to my papers i need a smoke now

Order out of Chaos is their motto. They are providing the chaos and providing the order. This one world idea where we are all one country one people one money one planet is the exact system that they are instituting. This is my point to.. most people say they are against this whole New World Order just like you, but then they are asking for the very goal of them to solve the problem.

The problem I see is that mankind was united historically with one language, one country, one people in Ancient Babylon. Humankind has attempted this before, and history recorded that the plan fell apart as the languages were confused. In all of human's history we have spoken different languages since then and used symbols to speak about that system. Our world leaders are working to accomplish this system again.

Oh did you hear they will pass the final Financial Reform bill tomorrow? Oh and then Obama wants to sign it into office on July 4th.

When will the USA fail? July 4th, 2010. Coffin, Nail, Bang.

Did you know that any business that is substantially financial in nature (ie: any business) will be regulated with this thing? That is about probably every grower here on this board. WISE UP!

The regulations have no teeth when it comes to the big banks. It will be business as usual for them, make bad loans/investments and when they go bad move the liability to pay it all off over to the public. When bets pay off and money is made, keep it for yourself. Small businesses will be crushed by the new regulations and will be taken over by the big banks. Won't be long before there is only 4 banks in this country. BofA, Wells Fargo, Citigroup and of Course JPMorgan. They will run everything and will keep everyone else marginalized through the rule of law, which the laws will be made by them, for them.

LOL. USA is too big to fail. haven't you hear about china investing more of its money into the american dollar than the european euro? i think this is a good sign. but if anything fails it would most likely be due to a coupt, or else i dont see any failing or type of government change. maybe move toward socialism more if we can put a budget on the military. LOL but like that could happen.

First off, I haven't read all friggin17 pages of discussion, so i apologize before i may say something someone else may have tossed into the mix.

The USA, is by far one of the most economically vital countries in the world. If the US fails, well, there would be very much fallout worldwide. It would be a huge blow to the world financial market, much as we saw back in 2008 during the beginning of the current recession.

There is what is known as market wave theory, and I am sure some of those out there familiar with financing and accounting have heard... I am a biophysicist... I have a BSN-Emergency Trauma (military degree), and also found the time (and not much life for another 3 years) to pursue a Bach. in BME, and am working on a master's in biophysics, and one of my professors runs a financial firm that is doing well... basically, the market, overall, is on a steady, VERY SLIGHTLY growing trend. Regulation only steadies such growth, however takes most opportunity out, thus less people are able to start businesses, let alone just be highly successful. Deregulation takes us into a rapid wave pattern of ups and downs. Now on the upswing, more people have a chance to become more successful, thus the spikes up always outweigh the bottom of said waves. Markets that are allowed to experience some waves, last longer, and stay stronger, than those which are attempted to be wrangled onto a constant flat line. This is why tachyons are theorized to move faster than light... their rapid wave patterns, which happen to be the only evidence of their existence... can move between all energy and all matter, without interruption of space or time.... now, sure, you don't want the spikes in the wave to wrangle way out of control to the extremes, but at the same time trying to regulate and control it is only like making a bridge too rigid... that rigidity only becomes the very cause of it's demise....

If the US is starting to fail, more than financially, it would be disaster for the world. First off, the UN, and really any other country can forget about trying to step in to 'help'... because here in the USA, we take care of our own problems, not go around to other countries looking for handouts (talking the country in whole... the people... not the govt, as it would have failed in this case...) and we definitely won't take kindly to people forcing their way in. You may think the situations in Iraq and Afghanistan are uber shitty and fucked up (they are in many ways.. spent over 4 years between the two...) however, you have not seen shit, till someone stirs up this hornets nest. 1/20 people own a firearm in the US, with most owning more than one. We are the best armed country in the world. So this leaves out the possibility of any other country 'taking over'.

Now I personally would welcome economic collapse followed by civil collapse... because only then can we take out the trash that has held us back/down.... for then, we can finally regain our freedom, and our country, and restore it to it's former glory and respect.... and make the USA once again, the country everyone at one time looked up to.

Oh and by trash, I am talking all the corruption, and criminals running our country at all levels... but hey, that is just my opinion... seeing how Marijuana was made illegal at the request of old pharmaceutical companies under the later laws (1960s and later) and originally by some of the original monopolies.... so it is only very relevant... Unfortunately, the USA is not alone in this plight with govt corruption... it exists anywhere that an individual is given any power or authority....

you mean offshore drilling will be shut down? or all? how's that going to effect gas prices? lower gas prices = more money for american consumers to spend.

A. It would take a lot of shit to go down before the US could be considered a third world country. Probably won't happen in your lifetime.
B. The government can't take the constitution away. lol The people give the government power. We can also take it away.

I'd like to see where you read this shit...
Yeah, the govt speaking of pulling the constitution would be legal grounds to dismiss all who said/sign onto such a thing, as traitors. By law, everyone who would take part in such an act, would be legally liable to serve 10 years, for every amendment of the bill of rights, for EVERY PERSON IN AMERICA, thus each person would be chargeable, with up to over 30 billion year sentences for each!

Besides, the govt pulls the constitution, means they are no longer the govt, as they have no authority... they would all just be some ass holes operating illegitimately, and would have no authority... legal or otherwise... and those ass holes, well, lets just say they would only create an uprising against them, which would likely be headed by the Joint Chiefs, thus reestablishing the constitution, and a govt with authority. Also, all those involved would like be summarily executed, if not tried, convicted and executed, as that is the LAW... and those who try to 'take away' the very document which gives them any power, would be suicide for them, because I know about 2.5 million individuals who have sworn to uphold and defend the constitution... and they all got guns... and that is not counting all the armed private citizens. Which is also the very reason the second amendment is there... to prevent an abuse of the people by those in the 'govt', to prevent the govt from taking our rights away.

The govt would never risk pulling constitutional freedoms. even as it is, the govt is also very wary on declaring marshall law, or enacting emergency powers... because WE THE PEOPLE, would not stand for such acts...

Lower fuel costs leads to lesser cost for everything else... from the food on the table, to anything that is shipped, trucked, or even loaded onto a vehicle. Fuel costs, in addition to the E85 SCAM, and how many farmers have stopped producing food product corn types, but rather types that are best suited for ethanol production. I mean, for fuck sake, HEMP would be many times a better choice for making E85 than corn would... It is pretty sad that so many things would become a lesser issue if the govt would just go ahead and legalize hemp/marijuana agriculture. But fuel costs have increased the price of all food products more than the actual cost of the components itself.

Your government already circumvents the Constitution on MANY levels, Hell we hardly even know what the Constitution is anymore, its not something they teach in school.

hmmmm

i dont think america will fail. thought like everything in this world it has ups and downs.

as far as a civil war that someone mentioned early... what states would try to break away?
The military honors the constitution/congress/president.
i feel sorry for the ones that would ally or support breaking away from the union.
what was the price that the south paid?
no one wins in a civil war, cept foreign folks who benefit from the unstability that is brought about.

not necessarily civil war. but revolution. economic revolution. social revolution. industrial revolution. political revolution. human evolution.

I have my own thoughts on the US Civil war. but it was a tradegy that could've been prevented. You've forgotten where we've come from. WE broke away from a union with Great Britain. It just depends on your purpose I guess.

This is laughable. Yes it's tougher if you don't have a college education. We are the richest large country by far and our best days are ahead of us. We have millions of millionaires. If a dumb ass Cajun can do it almost anyone can.
