It could Use alot more vegging and perhaps ALOT morel llight. It looks like its leaf production is minimal . check your light spectrums on your bulbs and lumen out put. 6500k for veg 2700k for flowering. They are showing preflowers alredy and you may have been vegging them too long just with insufficient lighting. How old are they . 7th - 8th node is usually a good place to start flowering and they will grow considerably during 12/12 but I recomend you get more leaf on that plant . Read some threds on nutrients and lighting

You can put it into flower anytime you want, the plant size will double or triple in size when your flowering, most people flower early to keep the plant small and harvest quicker, but the more you veg the bigger the plant and bigger yield. You could go ahead and put it into 12/12 now if you really wanted to, how big is the plant?

EDIT: You should try and also top your plant, this will make it get even more bushier, I've done it to my girl which is flowering right now, after i topped her she got bushy as :D

1st pics is just few days after i topped you can see how there wasn't to much leaf production and looked skinny, 2nd pic is like 3 weeks later i think after topping, huge difference ;)

Master hemp with a good point. topping or LST'ng would help alot. would also increase leaf production if kept on 24-0 or similar

but how and where? is there a proper way to do that and how far from the top? and do i just keep it on the regular light cycle?

Found a picture and small description for you from google, hope this helps

Topping a marijuana plant

1. Locate the very top of your plant and cut through the main stem just below the newest growth. This should be done after the 3rd or 4th leaf set but can be done at any time after the 3rd leaf set.

2. Shows Plant Top cut off and where the 2 new Branches that will form a "Y" in the main stem will grow from.

3. Shows the newly topped plant after 2 days of growth, notice the Y in the Stem Forming.

here it is. i topped it on sat. i have three lights. two daylight 100ws and on warm one (idk the wattage). it had some trouble with the leaves, but the new ones seem to be doin fine. what you think?
