Maybe it's just me but their has been a huge decline in good quality movies coming out for the last couple of years, maybe it's just me.I'm hearing alot of talk of this twilight shit, which I never really gave any of those movies my time, and from what I hear it was kind of good, from what my sister told me,thats all people have been talking about it.This is not a twilight bashing thread. What I wanted to know was, what was the last movie that you actually went to the theaters to see,and what are the movies that you look foward to seeing?

Shit, last time I went to the theater was to see "Taken 2" which was pretty good, and a movie that I look foward to seeing is......Nothing! maybe the 2pac movie,if and ever they decide to start shooting it,but far as movies thats coming to theater soon,I haven't seen any commercial or trailer to any movie that has caught my eye.I find myself looking at a bunch of older films, like I've really been watching alot of old westerns lately,on stars encore.Alot of these new "actors" I don't know what to say about,I just don't feel the passion, nor are the story plots interesting.I recall a time going to the movies more then a couple times a year, bcuz they were serving us back to back with good shit, but nowadays it's nothing but duds, and schwag ass movies and schwag ass actors, anyway end of rant.

last movie was Harry Potter 7 part II..

we found the coolest thing for new releases... we take the kids the following sat after they premier at about 10am.. we have never seen more then 30-50 people in a 240+ room.

I would like to but wont see the new Red Dawn (was a teenager when the original came out and heck.. it was just shoot em up fun!)
and who cant resist yelling WOLVERINES!! when the time is right.
also The Hobbit will be seen for sure.

we do not even buy NEW release DVD's anymore really.. and totally stopped buying TV seasons of stuff... I have season 1-12 of The Simpsons... and stopped enjoying it about Season 9 or so... but my DD loves it.. we have a dvd collection of over 400 titles and dont want more then 40 more then 2 times..
(we love to have a movie marathon(thank GOD for medibles!)
wifey loves the Lord of the Rings series that usually takes up a weekend
and were Harry Potter freaks so that's a must see every 2 mo's or so.

Whats a movie theater? Maybe because people have big ass flat screens and dont want to spend money to be disappointed, so they wait for blu ray... lets face igood movies are few and far between.... blu ray is better quality too

The Man With the Iron Fists about 2 weeks ago. Before that 300 years and years ago. My local theater just got bought out and now all movies all the time dropped down to $5. So I might go alittle more often.

Uh, like 7 years ago. I can think of better ways to enjoy a movie, but then again I rarely watch them these days.
