yes, you give it a little light to start. say a 42 watt cfl. after a couple of weeks you're going to need more light.

water it a little, just a strong misting, for the first week or so. then switch to thorough watering every couple of days.

read up on growfaq and the stickies on this site and you should be fine.

Hey aznsensation244, Welcome to RIU

u may consider it for 24 hrs of light also... for the 1st few days that is...bt makes no difference, really. Keep it on 18/6 and dont forget to have a timer :)

Rather i'd say i've heard ppl say 18/6 is better tha n24/0

in nature, the plant gets 18 hrs of sunlight and 6 hrs of darkness... IMO, keep it as natural as possible... go in for 18/6

18-6 helps keep the shock of jumping to 12-12 at flowering time.. some say the plant will show its sex faster because at 24-7 going to 12-12 it takes a half a week or so for the plant to recover and say hey its time to flower... Ive found my plants love the 24-0 cycle and to keep them from shocking i go 18-6 for a two week period then its 12-12.. what ever works for you is fine. There is no wrong or right answer. some people grow on a continueous 12-12 but ive never done it and dont think i would recommend it because it would probly take forever to mature.
