soil grow, using FFOF soil, almost 3 weeks old, about 6.5 inches tall...

I haven't used any nutes as of yet, the plants look pretty good...

I just added my 600w HPS last night, fantastic already!

they need a good watering today and was curious can I mix the fox farm nutes? which ones should I use?

should I dilute it?

thanks

Johnny

Personally, I wouldn't give the plants anything yet, not till they're showin the slightest bit of defficiency. always wanna start ur nutes at 1/4 strength ( I start mine at 1/2:fire:) and work ur way up to full strength. Congrats on the new light :bigjoint: What'd it do to ur temps? Is it one of the fancy air cooled hoods?

LOL, not that crazy really. How many cfl's were u usin? I just use the cfl's to sprout em till they're big enough for my 400w hps, it gets hot as shit but my fans and ac balance that out ya know. I was thinkin of makin a cooltube for mine for my nex grow, whats ur temps and distance?

distance now is about 10"... I honestly could probably get even closer...

I was using 5 40w CFLS, and 2 23w

I just hooked it up last night, so I'm not all that sure about the temps for a whole day, but right now it's in the upper 70s.... I think it did get to low low 80s...

Bet those cfl's were pretty hot, I had 8 23w cfl's at first on two plants, and the temps were up in the 80's, but I did have fans on em, and the plants didn't seem to mind the high temps too much. Once my hps came in the mail it was on from there:bigjoint: Once I hooked up the hps, I had to bring in another fan and an ac unit to keep temps damn close to 76 during the 'day' I've found that the cfl's for early veggitation create nice tight node spacing and a bushy plant, when kept at proper distance of corse. But for flowering, nothin compares to the hps.
