When to take dome off clones??

So Ive been having trouble with my clones surviving. They usually wilt and rot. I have a hygrometer and my humidity has been averaging 90%. My last guess is that I have not been taking the dome off enough during the day to give them fresh air, but i wonder how long to do this for until the clones start to dry out. Please help will be very grateful.
edit: temp inside clone dome is 75-81 degrees, averaging about 78.
edit2: clones are under a cfl 1600 lumens

Hey dude, real key thing with clones is the planting medium used. I could take twenty cuttings and all root in a week in jiffy coco plugs.
Do it in soil and about 70% will root over two to three weeks. Rockwool I'm not a fan of it produces carcinogenic dust.
Medium is important because it needs to be moist but never wet hence the rotting stems.
With the coco plugs it's easy, dunk em in water, let them hydrate them squeeze them pretty firmly til all the water comes out then put in the cutting.
Into the propagator and lid closed for three days whilst opening it once a day for a couple of minutes to let the air exchange. On the fourth day start opening the air vent on your propagator lid.

The reason I think your medium is too wet is because your temp and humidity is spot on. Hope this helps

Took me ages to finally get clones to root and I used a 10w fishtank fluro lol but it worked make sure u have the correct clonex type I used wrong one first time I also use the jiffy pellets I cut the clone stem on a angle and scrap around it dipp then Into pellets I then spray my dome with water and I dont touch em for 5 days then I try pick up the plants and if it dont come outs the jiffy its rooted I then open up top of dome

You dont need domes if you know how to clone. if your mum is healthy, your scissors/scalpel are sterile , use powder and good stem cut and you wont get droop. I use very small pots with a quality coco/perlite mix as a medium, about 95% s/r . I use a clone box with heat mats and a cfl . The box is an old 3 draw cabinet with a piece of cardboard (loose fitting) as a door. The temp is about 80-90.
I would only use a dome with holes open if i cant get the temp to 80 in winter.

i used to use jiffy pellets and they went ok except they burn the tips of the cuttings. Now that i use small plastic pots(about size of the jiffy) with canna terra coco pro as medium, I have no more tip burn, yellowing and a better s/r.

I use the same soil mix I grow in to clone..
I used to have the same issues you mentioned. mediums too wet as mentioned. I wet the soil the night before then before inserting the clone I till it up to aerate. dome comes off when I need to water again, maybe 5 days. I keep them at 82-84°..
by the time the bag comes off at the end of the week they have rooted. growth slowly comes. a week later about 90% pull through and I lower light
