they will send you a renew packet, or you can get your paperwork filled out and send it in, i dont think there is a problem doing that.

i have never heard of a renew packet... and i'm pretty damn sure you are wrong. sorry.
maybe from your select clinic. but dont give the impression that the state run program would.
Ya.. doubt a renewal packet comes I have yet to see my card in 5 months.

You can renew up to sixty days before your card expires.
I was never sent any type of paperwork to renew, although I did
get a call telling me it was time to renew.
Last years card expired on June 1, I renewed the first part of April, and
didn't get my new card until late June, although I got the paperwork faster this year,
took less than a week to get that back.

Yes, you still need a Dr. recommendation.
Until Bill Schuette's definition of what a doctor, patient, their relationship, a qualifing condition, your police pothead id number, and a few other things are passed and clairified.
