when to harvest?

hey everyone says that its time to harvest when 50% of white hairs are brown/red. my plants should be ready to harvest but all the hairs are still white should i wait for them to darken or not? i would have to say that half of my plants hairs are coloring but the other half are all still white and they are all the same kind of plant. any help would be great thanks.

you really shouldnt go by the pistils turning color.. you need a microscope or something to look at the trichomes.. thats what really count.. if there cloudy to amber in color you can harvest if you wanna.. about 50 percent of each..
