When to Harvest??8 Sour Diesels 1st Time Grow, 9weeks & 5 days, 1000w

have 8 sour diesel clones I vegged them for about 4 weeks (bought them as clones on Aug 9th) put them in 5 gal. pots. they are under 1000w hps for 12 light and 12 dark. i water them every other day i use about 4-5 gallons of water and disperse the 4 gallons evenly through the 8 plants. i am using foxfarm oceans forest with worm castings mixed soil. I am using foxfarm nutes: big bloom, & tiger bloom, i started using nutes 6 days into flowering, because i wanted to flush. they are in a 5ft x 5ft x 6ft 7in grow hut with reflective foiling (not white walls). Temp is constantly 73F TO 77F during light hours and dark hours goes to about 65-60F (ac unit), pH is always 6.3-6.1. Any tip/hints would be very helpful! i have osculating fans and two 6in. inline exhaust (YOU CAN ONLY SEE 1 INLINE IN THE PICS) the other inline is attached to the other end of the duct spitting the hot air out of the window. inline exhaust fans and a carbon filter. WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK SO FAR??? ANY TIPS OR HINT WOULD HELP ALOT! IM A 1ST TIMER. anything you would do different? ps. THEY are really STINKY! already

THEY HAVE BEEN GROWING FOR A TOTAL OF 9 WEEKS AND 5 DAYS.
They are about 34in tall. is that normal??

Nute dosses: tiger bloom=1/4 tsp/gal
Big Bloom=1-2 tbs/gal

i did use grow big a couple times before i switched to 12/12

Can you get some pics of the buds up close? It's hard to tell from those pictures but it doesn't look like the hairs have strated to change from white to rust/orange yet. Have they? What about the trichs, have they started to change to milky yet? Some closer pics of the hairs and trichs will help.
EDIT: I just re-read you post and the TOTAL time growing is 9 weeks. That means 4 weeks veg and 5 weeks of 12/12, right? If that is the case you have quite a while yet. I believe SD's flowering time is around 65-70 days maybe longer, that means you have another 4-5 weeks of flowering to go or more.

yea def get more up close pics of the buds. and go to radioshack and get a 30x scope to look at the trichs. its only like $15

*im thinking about adding a co2 setup, maybe switch to hydroponics hydrofarm 8 site or EBB?, or up grading to a lumatek digital 1000w ballast. which do you think would benefit me more? or what cani add to my setup to make it better?

They are not ready yet. if you vegged for 4 weeks then they are just short of 6 weeks in flower right? Not yet but should be soon. Get the 30x scope or some other kind of magnifying device. Then check your trichomes every day. milky cloudy trichomes is what you want. if they are clear they are not ready yet, if they are amber then they are past prime. You will prolly want to harvest when you have some amber trichs though because they don't all hit prime @ the same exact time. @ harvest time you will likely have trichs of all 3 colors, you just wanna cut 'em when you have the most cloudy/milky ones you can have. So you may have 5-15% amber when most are cloudy & still a few clear ones too.

^^^ exactly! The hairs are still 95% white, you have a few weeks to go.

thats weird at 9.5 weeks sour deisle sould of been finished if not close to beinging done by now regradless they need some time still u dont check ur plants when the lights are off do u

mybad they still have a month to go about man didnt see they where only 4 weeks flowering still nice tho man

yeah those look really good man.. diesel is a 9 week strand.. my buddy swears by that strand and that's all he grows (I don't blame em it's bomb).. but yeah his stuff is usually finished around day 67 or 68.. just keep checkin the hairs for them to be brownin and curlin in a bit.. good job man,
