When to bud?????

My plants got 5 feet of space to grow from the top of the pot to the maximum proximity to the light...so when should I bud? Any help is appreciated....

its so funny these days how cheap people are wanting to grow herb for.

yeah, but why not start on a small budget? I tried to do what he's doing about 3 years ago and completely fucked it up because I didn't put the lights close enough, plus kept the CFL encased in a plastic shield.
