Not unless you have another source of nitrogen. Hydro nutes are fine for soil. Begin the veg nutes at 1/4 strength the rate on the bottle or 1.0 EC or around 300PPM.
I use shultz all purpose for veg and Schultz bloom for flower and that's it. Those are just babies don't feed them till they're on their second set of leaves and in 1 gallon pots.
Depending on what kind of soil your using you might just be able to use water until later on in veg. I wouldn't rush to get them on a fert program if your soil is good. Like @New Age United mentioned start off with qaurter strength. I would feed after every third watering. Feed, water, water, feed etc. Wait till your soil gets nice and dry in between watering to build a nice big root mass.
