When should I pull clones?

I want to pull some clones from my three plants, I’m trying to figure out how much care clones take as I’m leaving for the happiest place on earth September 15th for two weeks and kind of wanted to know if clones would last two weeks with just an automatic water timer? Any help would be greatly appreciated and thank you.AA5213F3-D302-406C-906F-41F88F1BBAD4.jpeg.

Hello WingAK,

The only thing that's really important for clones, besides watering is to pop the lid of your mini greenhouse the replace the old air. The most crucial part is usually the first week because the humidity level has to be as high as possible which means the the greenhouse/plastic box will have to be sealed for the first few days. That's why you have to lift up the lid to replace the old air that was trapped at least once a day.

However, after about a week, you could leave the vents open. Can you take your cuttings at least one week before you go on vacation?

PS: If you do it now, you'll have more than enough time for your clones to take roots before you leave:-D
