I was thinking about it recently. some of the nicest plants I vegged were only given a type two hydro salts, that was basically a few macros and micros but no NPK.
I didn't know better at the time.
Just noticed this on one of the plants, other 3 still look amazing. Going to get a Ppm pen this morning and then I’ll give em some food today. Is this from no nutes or too much calmag?
It is a bit light on magnesium but nothing tragic. I would start them off with water in which an aquarium filter was cleaned out. It adds maybe 10ppm to the water but it is full of micros and stuff that the pen doesn't register.
