When people discover a way to do something that's twice as effective

For example, It's been said by a few members that LED growers only focus on the Watts in, and not the g out. I light 50% more total footprint area than one person who's made this claim. (6'x4' vs 4'x4')

The reality is that a lot of people are using cxb DIY because they're trying to increase yield while having the same power bill, not trying to decrease their power bill while keeping yield the same.

Greater efficiency means you have a choice between MORE and cheaper!

I'm not putting out pounds like some of you guys, but I'm really happy that I can support my needs with about 30 bucks/month in electricity and 10-20 bucks/month worth of seeds. An eighth around here costs 50 bucks...I can smoke that in two joints.......Wouldn't have been possible without COBs. Even though I'm using the IG now, I still have the 2700K CXA3590 in there, and once summer heats up I'll switch back to COBs....300W mixed spectrum in a 2x3 space really does good things. With the COBs and remote heat sinks, the tent runs at room temperature so I can keep the AC at 79 and save money there as well.

Yes, they were expensive to set up, but they pay for themselves in so many different ways. Anymore, I'm laughing at people arguing about the efficacy of growing with them.
