When is the best time to lollipop your plants?

I am currently in week five of vegging my current grow (link is in my signature with many pics included) and plan to switch to 12/12 this weekend. Is it best to lollipop my plants now, or should I wait until after I switch to 12/12? If I should wait, when would be the best time to do it? Week three or earlier? Any help would be most appreciated and +Rep will be given for good, detailed responses. Thanks!

2 weeks into 12/12. Don't remember where I read that, but that's my plan.

i am no lollipopping expert, so take this with a grain of salt...

it seems like cutting branches when flowering adds unneeded stress on the plants when they are focusing on bud production. i personally would do lollipopping a week or two before flowering. so it has time to recover from the procedure. that is just my opinion. maybe green cross is right, my gut just tells me that cutting a plant while flowering is a no-no.

oh, i have seen your grows before. shit man, just do whatever you did last time, that seemed to work pretty fucking well. good luck to ya and i'll be keeping an eye on this grow as well

at week 1 and then again at week 3 of flowering

I do it 1 week before switching to 12/12, then do some cleanup a week after 12/12.

Thanks! I didn't lollipop or trim at all last time though and ended up with a lot of wispy, worthless buds on the lower branches so I want to trim them off. Stop in my journal sometime and feel free to say, "Hello!"

Anybody else have any feedback for me?

only problem about lollypopping before flower is it will cause stress and give more chance of a male or hermi.. i would also recommend 1-2 weeks into flower.. they still havent taken off at that point yet and have plenty of time to recover b4 they start packing on the weight..
