When is day 1?

I just paper towelled my seeds... When do i refer to the seedling as day 1?

I start my count from when the seedling is planted.

Just pick a day, usually the day you put them in soil. Doesn't really matter that much unless you're tracking the time for a reason.

I see no reason to keep track of days of vegg and flower. Simply because you vegg until your space is utilized to its full potential.....and you flower them until they're done. I've seen plants go well beyond the breeders guestament and I've seen plants finish early as well.


However if you wanted to start counting for your own personal record. I'd say start when you see the first signs of life above the soil.

I agree with Indacouch, When you see the first signs of Life above the soil, I call that day one 1. Hope the best for your set up. Good Luck

i concur

i write down my start/finish 12/12 for easy reference when growing more of same strain (nice to know if it's a 6,8, or 11 week strain)
