Hi.
Some sources say to take fat 15-30 min before the edible while other sources say to take it WITH the edible. What are your experiences? (and by "edibles", i'm pretty much referring to swallowing ground up decarbed weed w/some water).

Thanks

I always prepare edibles using butter or coconut oil.

Why do you need fat with edibles? Been eating cannabis for over 20 years..
The only fat I eat is in the canna oil.. I guess eat as much fat as you can..
Before, with and after you eat your weed..

You should eat something with fat 45min or more before taking the pot which should also be eaten with fats to help with absorption especially if eating the ground up bud that has had no processing other than the decarb.

The science behind it is that eating fats earlier gets the liver busy working on those with it's enzymes so the cannabinoids in pot can circulate thru your system before being processed. That makes it more efficient medically but if it's more the high you're after then just eat the pot with some fats to help it get into your system quicker and be able to absorb more of it. Best if the pot has been cooked with some oils for even better absorption tho.

By discussung fat in this manner I can't help but envision taking a bite out of whale blubber. Chocolates sound way better.
Whale blubber is all full of toxins like PCBs, DDT, mercury and teflon derivatives now and not as tasty as it used to be. ;)

Chocolate with at least 70% cocoa is an acceptable substitute.
