When exact to lillipop

When doing a sog , single cola grow. I've read its best to trim 1/3 the plant one week before flowering, and i also have heard people say 2-3 weeks into flowering.

Has anyone experimented with this?

id like to know this too. im never sure when to do it so i don't. im sure its somewhere around 1 wk before going to 12/12.

A week or two BEFORE flowering is best for the plant. Be sure to be ready to take some colnes too. You mine as well use some of those clippings to start some more little ones. You ideally want to give the plant some time to recover before you put her thru flowering. Goodluck and good growing

is this technique just ideal for SOG grows or is it a good idea to use on plants you've been vegging 6 wks or so?

Im just asking because im flowering a few monsters i wanted to lollipop but didnt because i thought it was only meant for SOG grows.

My understanding is that it doesnt hurt yield. how true is that (considering you're removing budsites that bud would have grown otherwise even if its a few popcorn g's)
