When does chlorophyll/grass smell leave the bud?

I am drying my bud and they smell like grass/chlorophyll! but when i touch the bud it releases the insane dank smell! im just hoping that this grass smell leaves. will this smell leave by the end of the drying process? is there something certain that i need to do?

After drying the buds they need to be cured. There are many guides to curing, these two are stickies on the forum:

Basically, just leave the dried buds (dried to a snap, not crunch) in an air tight container in complete darkness for at least a couple weeks, until the dank smell returns. Check on the buds daily during early cure to release excess moisture and prevent mold. Once they've settled into the right moisture level, you can leave 'em alone for a long time.

And once you start curing them the change between the "green" smell and that dank weed smell will be very sudden, the dank smell should get amazingly strong.

It's the part I hate most about growing,having to learn patience!
