When do you add first nutes?

Hello all,

When do you (how long after germination) like to add nutrients for the first time?

Also, if I'm averaging about 80 degrees F, what should my target humidity be?

thanks for your responses,
cleef

50-65%humidity is ok. if your in soil don't give any nutes at all until at least 2 weeks in. if your soil has nutes in it already you may want to wait up to month. if your in hydro, well if your in hydro i have no idea honestly :)

Great. Thanks, unforgiven.

Any suggestions for increasing humidity? I'm in a cabinet so adding an electric humidifier would probably not be optimal.

Right now I'm at 85 degrees and 22% humidity.

I'll try the bowl and see how far that gets me.

Yeah, that's my lights on temp. I just installed a new light and I haven't quite balanced out the temperature yet.

You would think since the bucket of water has so much more surface area than the sponge in the bag it would be more effective at humidifying?

yeah if your in a small cabinet the bowl of water would probably work fine. the other thing you can do is just mist the air in there whenever you can. do you have ventilation?

Yeah, I have ventilation which is turning the air over in the cabinet several times per minutes. And I really need to add more ventilation to get the temperature down a little. Ultimately, that's the problem though. With that much air circulating through, the cabinet is never going to be that much more humid than the room it's in. At this very moment the cabinet is 86 degrees, 20% RH. The room is 70 degrees, 26% RH.

well as long as youve got proper ventilation you can always put a humidifier outside the cabinet. look at the bright side...i doubt you have to worry much about mold once you start to flower.
