When Do Trichomes Begin To Appear?

I am growing what I thought was NYCSD. I however, have reason to believe that may not be what it is. Whatever I have though is a really, really sativa heavy breed. They are also taking a long time to flower. So I don't know how long the flowering time will ultimately be. Right now though, I am assuming around twelve weeks.

So I am trying to time my grow so that I can give my plants a good week to a week and a half of flush time. So now to the point: how many weeks before harvest time do trichomes start to appear. I am nine weeks into flowering to the day right now.

Here are some pics: Thanks for any input.

Sativas take longer. There's no way to time it, it is where it is. If there are no trichs yet you are at least a month away, probably more.

Well, I hope I get a good yield out of this. I hear the wait will be well worth it....but it sure does take a long time.

Jeez, that is great! Four weeks eh? I just like that sativa high a lot more. So waiting will be worth it. I am trying a couple of different strains next however, that are sativa dominant, but have flowering times of about ten weeks.

At this point, my plants are nine weeks into flowering, and I am looking at at least four more weeks from the sound of it. I have been reading of sativas that take as long as seventeen weeks to flower. I hope mine ain't that long. I was poking around on my plants earlier today, and I found one budded area that is starting to show trichomes. I can find nothing anywhere else though.

Ok, trichomes have started to appear on my plants. I am unsure when I should begin flushing my plants of nutes. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Yeah, thats for the sativa strain, not sure witch one tho. I'm waiting to see some trics on mine still. I'll probably flower them for 8-10you weeks

It looks like maybe lightburn? I am not a very experienced grower but the very bleached pistils and that white center spot. I dunno.
