When do I trim!?

Hey everyone... I just started 12/12 last week and was just told to trim like 3 inches at the bottom to help airflow.... I did so.. Will that stress out the plants too much since they have been in flowering for a week? Im kinda nervous now!!

When do you guys think is the BEST time to lollipop? I just started flowering a week ago when I did myself.. PLEASE anyone that knows post!! Thank you!

Why are you determined to lollipop? I never saw the point, myself, but I suppose it's not a terrible thing, many guys do it.lol Anyway,..they should be fine, as long as they weren't like 6" tall. IMO, if you're new to this, just let them grow naturally, and save the lollipopping for the future. Why risk hurting them, when you could leave them alone and be guaranteed they won't be stressed? The yield will likely be better too, or else everybody would be lollipopping, by now.

Trimming the bottom is good for preventing bugs, airflow should not be that big a deal if your set up is small.You might get a bigger cola not going for the lollipop(depends on strain)
