i couldnt see the trichs very closely with the magnifying glass, but ik none of them are amber, so i can still let it grow. The main cola is maturing faster, so i will cut that when the pistils are like 3/4 amber.

It's not me. I would say another 2 weeks atleast...you want to make sure to flush well too.

Well, if you plan on cutting down in the next week or two, yes I would flush now. Are you going to flush with molasses still?

Yes I will still use molasses in flushing, because i heard it gives the bud more weight and a smoother smoke. But I will cut the main cola off in a week or so, then get the other small ones to develope.

Is it ok to just cut down the main cola when its ready, and then just work on the rest as usual, or would the tree die?

It will definitely shock for a couple days but should be ok, to my surprise a lot of people do cut the main cola down 2-3 weeks earlier than the rest of the plant. I personally just wait, I used to clip individual nugs off and dry those 2-3 days for smoke.

Last night i flushed with 3 1/2 gallons of water (with 1tbl molasses per gal). How much are you supposed to flush and how often?

oh... I have heard that you can add 1/4th strength nutes, but im not doing that, i will just continuing using molasses and regular water

the point of flushing is to get all of the salts out/to the bottom and have the roots take in that final dose of fresh water. I would recommend letting the soil dry out a little more than usual before the next flush

yes, a lot of them will stay white or amber a little...but in these next 5-10 days you will see substantial differences.
